The Ghost of World War I is Rattling Its Chains

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy is the lead nominee for the Archduke Ferdinand Award as he acted like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown in the Friday White House meeting. This was supposed to be solely a ceremonial meeting with lights blazing and cameras rolling where everyone was smiling. Everything had been agreed in advance with Secretary of State Rubio in Munich and Treasury Secretary Bessent in Kyiv. Suddenly Zelenskyy yanked the football from President Trump making new demands while disrespecting Vice President Vance and President Trump. Apparently, Zelenskyy had met with Democrats (and a few Republicans) one hour before the White House meeting and was seduced by these Leftist Warhawks. Zelenskyy, not being the sharpest tool in the shed, took the bait and sabotaged the meeting with President Trump. He hurt himself, Ukraine, America and President Trump while only helping Putin.

The President correctly threw this stooge out on his butt and the Democratic bullhorns immediately started blaring, “Russia, Russia, Russia! 2.0.” Zelenskyy already played into the Democrats’ hands when he openly interfered with the US 2024 Presidential Election last fall in openly supporting Biden against Trump. Not a smart move. But you know, dictators gotta dictate.

Zelenskyy hightailed it to England which condemned Trump, pledged $2 billion and spoke about “boots on the ground,” which is unbridled insanity. Apparently, there is widespread ignorance of what led to the conflagration of World War I. This thinking is coupled with the history of the Confederacy in the American Civil War after the military defeats of Gettysburg and Vicksburg.

World War I started as a localized conflict when Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian nationalist in June 1914. Political and military alliances, some secret, became inflamed and it metastasized into World War I where 17 million people died. The similarities are hauntingly reminiscent of today. Any combination of NATO, European or American soldiers in Ukraine will be the spark of World War III. Russia will be joined with China, Iran and North Korea and they will not back down, and it is impossible for them to be militarily defeated. The only path to peace is to hold peace talks. Russia, under Putin, actually has unlimited resources and is unafraid of throwing millions of its men into the meat grinder. Please refer to the Battle of Stalingrad for the removal of any doubt.

The other similarity is the American Civil War. The Southern Confederacy was never going to win the Civil War except by causing Northern political weariness of the War. The South was largely agricultural while the Behemoth of the North was heavily industrialized with extensive railroads. All the South could do after Gettysburg was fight a defensive war of attrition with General Lee. This doomed the South and caused hundreds of thousands of deaths. Sound familiar? This is precisely the position of the fourth year of the Ukraine War. This only supports the Warhawks who got America into Gulf War Two and fighting in Afghanistan after overstaying our welcome there for more than twenty years. Is this what America wants?

The answer is a resounding NO! Ukraine must listen to President Trump, who provides a path for peace in multiple steps. Calling Putin a Poo-Poo Head will not do any good. He is evil, but Obama allowed Russia to permanently occupy Crimea with its Russian fleet base in 2014 and Biden allowed the current war to start in 2022 because of his brain-eating dementia. The only way to satisfy the appetite of the Russian Beast is to negotiate a cease- fire which probably means ceding the Donbas and then stockpiling Ukraine with American companies with American workers drilling and mining resources which will be mutually beneficial to Ukraine and America. Russia would not reinvade and Putin will be given a way out and save face. In conjunction with the resurgence of American oil and gas, Europe can cease being the little b**** of Putin. Europe is not capable of financially or militarily supporting Ukraine with its dependence on Russia.

President Trump is the best answer, but the little dictator Zelenskyy will have to be removed before there is a chance for real peace. The Democrats are the real warmongers on our side. Their hatred of President Trump outweighs any love they have for the United States of America.
