(Sep. 1, 2024) — Two readers of The Post & Email reported that after they posted a link to an editorial by Thomas Reiner published Friday titled, “The Joy of Chaos” to their respective Facebook accounts, the platform immediately removed it.

“It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way,” Facebook contended, followed by a link to the removed article. “This goes against our Community Standards on spam.”

The article opens with Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s claim that “My values have not changed” during a pre-recorded interview with CNN’s Dana Bash released Thursday.

Harris became the Democrat presidential presumptive nominee within days of Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race. On August 1, a remote roll-call vote of DNC delegates cemented her nomination, followed by her formal acceptance on the final night of the DNC on August 22.

Thursday’s interview was Harris and running-mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s first since accepting their respective nominations.

One of the issues Bash raised was Harris’s seemingly shifting position on fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, used to extract oil and shale gas from the ground for the production of gasoline. Fracking plays a large part in the economies of Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Ohio and much of the Western U.S., including Harris’s home state of California, according to a report from stacker.com.

Harris told Bash she “would not ban fracking” if elected president, pointing to the fact the practice was not outlawed while she was vice president under Biden.

While a short-lived presidential candidate in 2019, Harris had said during a CNN townhall, “There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”

“Flipping and flopping is a recipe for chaos as the resulting uncertainty emboldens our enemies and causes confusion among friends,” Reiner’s editorial continued. “Kamala Harris is the patron saint of mendacity, confusion and incompetence. It was clear after waiting 40 days for an interview, she gave a 27-minute edited CNN piece which started out as nothing more than a campaign commercial.”

Reiner further described Harris as “an inept vice president who spins positions faster than a whirling dervish coupled with her Communist partner” and termed her “the crown princess of the border.”

Concerning the massive illegal-alien surge which began shortly before Biden and Harris took office, beginning in 2021 Harris’s designated role was to pursue the “Root Causes Strategy” “to align U.S. Government efforts to address the economic, governance, and security drivers of irregular migration from Central America.”

According to a White House press release on February 6, 2023, the United States allocated hundreds of millions of dollars and resources to Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala to carry out the initiative.

An unprecedented 10 million illegal aliens have reportedly entered the country since the surge began, with relatively few deported. Up to 30,000 each month from four other countries are entering the country “for two years” after a brief suspension stemming from suspicions of “fraud.”
