The Second Alamo

(Jan. 31, 2024) — “Come and Take It” — Texas Flag During the Texas Revolution 

The First Alamo was a thirteen-day siege of the Alamo during the Texas Revolution where 189 Texian and Tejano defenders were massacred by the Mexican Army led by President-General Antonio López de Santa Anna. Being ignorant that Texans are the True Bada**es of America^TM, the Mexican Army was soundly defeated by the Republic of Texas six weeks later in the Battle of San Jacinto and skedaddled south of the Rio Grande. While President, Santa Anna acted as a tyrant, bankrupted the Treasury, suspended the Mexican Constitution and led Mexico into unnecessary conflict. This President who attacked Texas was completely incompetent. Sound familiar? 

A Second Alamo is in the making by the incompetent mess currently occupying the Presidency in Washington, DC. Presidentish Biden has thrown open the Southern Border of the United States to an Army of Terrorists, Fentanyl Mules, Sex Traffickers, Cartel Operatives, and millions of military-aged men, especially from Communist China.  Federal Border Patrol have been reduced to the role of cruise ship directors.  Texas is standing up to this criminal behavior and Just Says No.  The States have the Constitutional Right to protect their citizens, especially when the Federal Government allows an army to cross America’s borders.  Biden is ready to launch a Civil War against Texas by federalizing the Texas National Guard and sending in troops if necessary.  Texas will likely suffer its Second Alamo, but the victory of the Tyrants thousands of miles away in Washington will be short-lived.  Twenty-five states have already signed support for beleaguered Texas.  The Border Patrol is reluctant to move against the Texas National Guard.  Americans of many stripes will stand up to The True Threat to Democracy^TM and will throw the Leftists out in the onrushing November general election assuming no next Virus hysteria.

So what is the “Come and Take It” business all about? The Texians used this phrase with a cannon embroidered on the Texas flag during the Texas Revolution.  That cannon was supplied by the Spanish in 1831 and the Mexican Army asked, then demanded, that the Texians return the cannon.  “Come and Take It” was the response.  Game on.  Next stop, the Alamo.  Many wars later, General McAuliffe was similarly defiant to a German capitulation order with the simple eloquent, “Nuts!”

Barbed Wire protecting the United States/Texas border is now the object of the attack by the Federal Government on the Free People of Texas^TM.  The Supreme Court twisted itself by incorrect Constitutional Law, ruling that Biden can remove the barbed wire to reopen the border to the flood of Illegals.  Texas has a response: “Come and Take It.”  Texas will just replace it with newer, bigger and more beautiful barbed wire. The Court did not rule against that.

It is time to stand up to the growing Despotism of Leftist State and Federal Governments.  Barbed wire is not all that they want to take. Come and Take It covers Gas Stoves, gas automobiles, gas anything, 2A protected guns, but especially all of your Constitutional and God-Given Rights. Instead, “Come and Take All” Illegal Aliens and deport them to their home countries.  Let migrants in the Front, not the Back, door if they qualify.
