What Has Caused the Collapse of the Greatest Nation on Earth?

I am deeply saddened. 

I grew up in Los Angeles as a little white kid in a predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood.  If we wanted kids to play with, we just plain got along.  And we did, playing ball in the street, bicycling, going to the penny candy store, and many other activities. 

Then in the sixties the divisiveness began.  Watts riots in 1965 destroyed the peace we had with one another and we slowly drifted apart.  Liberals began this divisiveness by emphasizing differences in people.  The old bunch I hung with were pretty loyal but began to group up against each other by these outside influences.  My friends and their friends lost their consciences and followed discriminatory, charismatic, hateful, and self-absorbed influencers.  These select few quickly got their way with the masses of folks and alienated a nation. 

These elitists could not earn a living because they didn’t develop job skills, so they worked easy tasks for political candidates, becoming journalists and college teachers.  All these unskilled groups built themselves via strong and vocal political leanings.  The teachers taught the next generations of teachers.  These folks followed the hippie elitists from San Francisco down to Big Sur.  They supported themselves by making speeches to the sheep who followed them, mainly because the journalists purposefully presented only one side of issues.  They brainwashed and behavior-shaped the following generations into thinking there were no boundaries to human behavior.  Never-before mass shootings and serial killings abounded.  Rioting and stealing from stores became their manner of getting points across and satisfying their greed.  Organized society began to disintegrate.  A great nation is crumbling because the extreme disrupting to our daily living has turned things into a colossal mess. 

Will this great nation which rose from a great yearning for freedom and liberty finally fall?  It surely appears to be the pattern.  Will the silent majority rise and return our homeland to sanity?
