Remember the Heroes; Remove the POS

(Aug. 29, 2021) — The Pentagon has now identified the thirteen service members who perished at the hands of the suicide bomber at the Kabul airport.  Their deaths, of course, came as a direct result of the decision by the Person of Slumber (for the sake of brevity hereafter, the “POS”) – also known as the president (lower case “p” intentional) – to trigger the chaotic and precipitous withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Afghanistan, culminating (thus far) in the suicide bombing taking the lives of thirteen American heroes.  None of this had to happen.  None of it.

Those who perished included eleven Marines, one Army staff sergeant and one Navy hospital-man.  All but one of the victims was in their 20’s.  The oldest was 31.  Two were women.  Here are their pictures and here are their names, in alphabetical order:  Lance Cpl. David Espinoza, 20; Sgt. Nicole Gee, 23; Staff Sgt. Darin Hoover, 31; Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss; Cpl. Hunter Lopez, 22; Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, 20; Lance Cpl. Dylan Merola, 20; Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20; Cpl. Daegan Page, 23; Sgt. Johanny Rosariopichardo, 25; Cpl. Humberto Sanchez, 22; Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, 20; and Navy hospital-man Maxton Soviak, 22.

Remember them as you review the catastrophe designed, constructed and implemented by the POS.  The mother of slain Marine Lance Corporal Rylee McCollum blamed Democrats who voted for the POS of participating in a chain of events leading to her son’s death.  Her grief-stricken claim is, to understate the matter, understandable.

These heroes’ names will go down alongside the names of those who perished in Benghazi, Libya – Ambassador Christopher Smith, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith and Glen Doherty – when their then-government “leaders,” all Democrats, by the way, abandoned them and allowed them to be killed by terrorists.  The Benghazi catastrophe has been addressed here, here and here. 

While the Benghazi disaster has largely been forgotten, the Kabul airport disaster cannot similarly be relegated to the Memory Hole.  Yet.  But the effort has begun.  Already, the POS cabal flaks and enablers labor furiously to “refocus” and morph the narrative from the incompetent decision to abandon Bagram and hastily withdraw U.S. troops before ensuring the safe evacuation of American citizens over to the narrative of how “historic” and “unprecedented” the rescue flights out of the airport are.  Eagerly, the Goebbelsesque media assists.

And their linguistic arabesque does not even get into a deflection of the likely treasonous rendition of “aid and comfort” to a wartime enemy manifested by the abandonment of the Bagram military air base.  The semantic gymnastics taking place in the POS administration is truly a “look at the monkey” gambit or “Chewbacca defense” diversionary tactic calculated to focus attention away from truth and reality.  They’ve become quite adept at the ruse. 

Here, that deadly reality is the disastrous “we’ve considered every contingency” exit “strategy” cobbled together in the foggy recesses of the POS’s brain.  Again, it is a misnomer to burnish and label as a sentient “mind” the nature of the organ occupying the space between his ears and the hair-plugs imbedded in his scalp.  If the “all contingencies” claim were taken at face value, that means they knew the suicide bomber would strike and allowed it to happen anyway.

Regarding Bagram, if its abandonment was done on the orders of the POS, he should be impeached, tried for treason and if convicted, given the maximum sentence.  If abandoning Bagram to the Taliban without a fight was done at the recommendation of his military “intelligence” personnel, they should be tried for treason and, if convicted, given the maximum sentence as well.  One way or another, charges of treason should lie on the horizon for someone. 

However, because that relic of prior generations – “accountability” – applies within the District of Columbia only when Republicans are targeted or in control, do not hold your breath for redress or justice to prevail anytime soon.  Memo to the electorate: Vote GOP.  Always.

In that regard, even before the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport, a Rasmussen poll reveals that nearly ten percent of Democrats responded that they regretted voting for the POS.  More significantly, an even larger number – 13% – said that they would vote for President Trump today.  Note that the POS “won” the 2020 election – even if the vote-count is ultimately proven to be correct – by far less than 13% of the popular vote, so…, do the math.  Too bad those people did not perceive on election day last November that which a blind Martian could have seen was coming “over the horizon” under a POS regime.  “Never-Trump” blindness is a pernicious and, as now proven in Kabul, deadly disease.

Those who voted for the POS in 2020 – as opposed to voting for the guy who put America first; struck back at America’s enemies; and posted “America First” tweets on Twitter – should now be asked: “You happy now?” And, speaking of Twitter, how hypocritically ironic is it for that “publisher,” masquerading as merely a “social media platform,” to have banned President Donald Trump…, and yet still allow the Taliban continued access “as long as they obey the rules?”  

Seriously?  It is a “rules infraction” to advocate “America first” and challenge a deeply flawed, if not outright fraudulent 2020 election, yet somehow OK to provide access to the communications service to bipedal hyenas who behead Afghans who can speak English and who set Christians on fire while still alive.  As frequently noted, this is what happens when radical, incompetent and mendacious Democrats are inserted into positions of power.  Every…, single…, time. 

The POS is categorically unfit to remain in office.  Text – while you can – any one of the hundreds of American soon-to-be hostages to be left behind when the last military jet departs the airport and ask if they disagree.  The smart money says they will agree that he is unfit, and do so in a heartbeat …, many more of which they might not have.  And for anyone questioning whether he really is a “person of slumber,” dozing off at the most inappropriate times, it appears that he recently fell asleep during a face-to-face meeting at the White House with the new Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett. Swell.  Not exactly “presidential.”

The POS makes the Georgia peanut farmer look like Superman.
