“We can re-open safely,” HS, 28/8, is truly a hollow promise from Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp, who (along with Dep. Lord Mayor and Head of City Planning Nicholas Reece), voted for the Daniel Andrews/James Merlino Labor Government-inspired CBD “safe” (just like Richmond’s) injecting room for heroin addicts; ever-present drug deals and peddlers: “look-at-my-sexual-prowess” (on car bonnets) public displays; increased crime, drug-addled live-on-the-street vagabonds; destruction of businesses, tourism, property values; endangering residents’ physical and mental well-being and family heartbreak!
Not so long ago a certain big steep hill, “Pretty Sally,” on the then-single lane Hume Highway leading into Melbourne was infamous for car and truck wrecks when brakes and steering failed!
Now Melbourne’s “Silly” Sally (and “No-nous” Nick) are going to implement “Dodgy” Dan’s and “Jiggering” James’s “open season” on any effective “open day” for Melbourne’s CBD recovery;, by steering, at break-the-CBD’s-neck speed, right near Flinders St Station “train wreck” of a “safe” injecting room: letting all the preceding evils loose on the CBD currently so savagely ravaging Richmond?
