(Jul. 15, 2021) — On Thursday morning, members of the Arizona Senate will hold a hearing on the progress of the forensic election audit launched in April in Maricopa County.

As noted on the legislature’s website, the hearing will commence at 10:00 AM Arizona time (1:00 PM EDT), with live video carried by the senate. OANN will also broadcast the hearing, reporter Christina Bobb tweeted.

According to Arizona state senator Warren Petersen, who chairs the Judiciary Committee, “The Senate President and I will be asking what has been completed and what is needed to finish the audit so that we can receive the complete final report.”

It is as yet unclear as to when a report might be issued.

On Tuesday, Arizona state senator Wendy Rogers tweeted that the ballots counted during the audit “don’t match” those certified by the county and state for the November 3, 2020 election.

Present at Thursday’s hearing, Rogers tweeted Wednesday, will be the Senate’s audit “liaison,” former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett (R); Doug Logan, CEO of Cyber Ninjas, the lead company hired to conduct the audit; and Ben Cotton of CyFIR, an assisting company.
