(Apr. 19, 2021) — “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Today we have a real treat: the Vietnam Veteran, our honored guest, agreed to be frank with us and not hold anything back. For the life of me, I can’t remember when he hasn’t been frank with ‘Pulse’ and I can’t imagine him holding anything back, but that’s what he said so we’ll start the interview. How are you doing, Vietnam Vet? Oh, by the way, please address me as ‘Zork’; I feel it makes for a more relaxing atmosphere.”
“Hey, how you doin’, Zork. You know, I’m really glad to be back on ‘Pulse’ to give you straight answers to direct questions. How can I enlighten any of your audience?”
“I like to know how you would solve the problem of riots, that’s what.”
“Besides getting rid of the incompetent mayors?”
“Good point.”
“That’s where we have to start. There used to be vagrancy laws, but since the ‘Occupy Movement,’ when the mayors told the cops to ignore ‘NO OVERNIGHT PARKING,’ everything went downhill in a heartbeat. And they really gave the store away when they allowed camping in the public parks and on the sidewalks. They tied the cops’ hands, is what they did.”
“Yes, I remember the chaos, and it hasn’t slowed down one bit, has it?”
“And it’s getting worse, and a whole lot worse since many of our once-beautiful cities are nothing more than open-air refugee camps that have turned into illegal immigrant sanctuary centers of high crime; nothing more than a petri dish to incubate some pretty scary strains of TB.”
“And San Francisco used to be such a nice place.”
“No matter how you look at it, it is not good, especially for the people who the nitwits think that they’re helping. These new TB bugs are totally resistant to our drugs, and so are a lot of other diseases that we had 100% eradicated, but because we opened our door to the bums from the Middle East and to those south of our border, we are really paying way too high of a price so stupid people, such as Biden-Harris, Dems and RINO’s, can pretend that they care and are doing good when, in fact, they are doing irreparable harm to our country.”
“Okay, the mayors are the weak link. What else?”
“Give the cops the leeway to do their job, that’s what. Let me give you a true story: some decades ago, when a hurricane was barreling down on New Orleans, the governor and the mayor made the announcement that ‘LOOTERS WILL BE SHOT.’ Guess what?”
“What?”
“There was absolutely no looting. Matter of fact, there was not one report of a robbery or rape.”
“So that’s the answer?”
“That’s it in a nutshell: give the cops the green light to shoot anybody who is rioting and breaking the law. Marching peacefully is one thing; breaking into stores to loot and burn is an entirely different ball game.”
“You mean shoot to kill?”
“Is there any other way?”
“No, I guess not. You know you’re right; ANTIFA and the BLM would dry up overnight and so, on that uplifting note — finally a real solution to a real problem, we’ll be wishing you all a goodnight: Goodnight.
