FAKE WEBSITE CONTINUES TO STEAL OUR WORK, REMOVE ATTRIBUTION AND ALL LINKS

(Sep. 5, 2020) — The Amazon-hosted “todaystopics.com,” styled after a website set up last year which duplicated The Post & Email’s unique content without permission or attribution, continues to repost every article we publish within a matter of hours or minutes while removing all our source links and bylines.
As we reported last month, the admitted host of the content, Amazon Web Services (AWS), informed us that it located the plagiarized content and would take action by contacting the website owner and provide us with an update. We have heard nothing since the last communication dated August 24.
A “pingback” which appeared Saturday afternoon as a comment to our two-year-old article, “The Post & Email Interviews Atty. Mario Apuzzo on the 14th Amendment, Part 1” included the IP address of todaystopics.com, which an IP lookup tool identified as “Amazon.com” located in Ashburn, VA.
The website which appeared last year, hothealthblog.com, was hosted by AWS and served the same function as todaystopics.com until it was taken offline, as we reported in December.
The website-ranking tool Alexa, which is owned by Amazon, shows “No Results” for todaystopics.com for “rank,” “site metrics,” “keywords,” “audience geography” or “audience overlap.”
