4.8 MILLION MORE AMERICANS WORKING, UNEMPLOYMENT RATE FALLS MORE THAN 2%

(Jul. 2, 2020) — President Trump will be giving a press conference on the newly-released June employment numbers and the state of the economy at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to mainstream reports, 3 million new jobs were expected to be added to the economy, but the number is actually 4.8 million.
Unemployment decreased from 13.3% to 11.1% following the severe contraction caused by the coronavirus.

At the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange, stocks rose more than 350 points on the news.
