Memo to America: Take the Red Pill

A “DANGEROUS INTELLECTUAL VIRUS”

(May 21, 2020) — In the 1999 allegorical sci-fi movie, The Matrix, the protagonist, Neo (Keanu Reeves) is presented with a choice by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) of taking a red pill or a blue pill.  If Neo takes the red pill, he will awaken from and escape the artificial “safe” dream world of the Matrix and be required to face reality in the actual world, with all of its potential risks and rewards.  If he takes the blue pill, he will remain in the Matrix, secure, comfortable and cared for in his own personal electronic prison.

This scene from a fictional movie has evolved into a corporeal phenomenon: the real-world recognition of lifestyle options between (a) living one’s life in a cocoon of sloth, ignorance and “safety” or (b) living’s one’s life in the reality of risk, freedom and liberty.  You want the former, go with the blue pill.  You prefer the latter, go with the red pill.

Recently, controversy erupted when Elon Musk, of Tesla and SpaceX fame, “tweeted” his opposition to a California governmental edict that he keep his business closed as part of the false goal of stopping the spread of the Wuhan/COVID-19 virus.  Let us call it “Fauci’s Folly.”  Musk’s tweet was simple: “Take the red pill.”  The hubbub only grew when Ivanka Trump, the President’s daughter, tweeted in response: “Taken!”  The film’s creator, Lilly Wachowski  – a trans denizen of Hollywood – took umbrage at the tweets for having the audacity to challenge the California governmental virus lockdown dictates, utilizing a “less-than-family-friendly” verb-pronoun-pairing tweet since removed from the Internet.

Assuming, for the sake of argument, that it is not too late, the time has come for all Neo’s out there – also known as Americans – figuratively to take their own red pills.  Once the pill takes effect, the reality of the Left’s efforts to destroy the United States and attempt its rebuilding in the images of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Mao and AOC will come into clear and undeniable focus.

The Left’s agents in this “destroy-the-village-in-order-to-save-the-village” pogrom consist, almost entirely, of (a) Democrats in positions of power in Congress and in state and local government offices; (b) a Deep State creature the true size and virulence of which is yet to be finally determined; and, (c) a media cabal that jettisoned any trace of journalistic independence and objectivity it once possessed decades ago.

Through their actions in the recent concerted “soft” coup d’état attempt against a president they disfavor; their efforts to maximize the chaos of a global pandemic and; their incessant indulgence in racial and identity politics, it has become increasingly clear that they will do virtually everything they can to keep Americans from taking the red pill.  Their only goal is to enslave and imprison the populace in a Matrix-like nation where total and absolute control over one’s every movement, text, phone call, Internet search and, eventually, thought is monitored and controlled… not by you.  By them.  Welcome to 1984 36 years later.

Oh, and get set to make your children, their children and their grandchildren perpetual tax slaves as intellectual termites like Nancy Pelosi propose serial $4 trillion; $8 trillion; perhaps even $1 quadrillion “stimulus and rescue” bills as inflation bursts over the country.  The fact that under President Trump, such bills would be DOA on his desk even if they escaped the Senate is not the point.  The point is that Democrats like the Wretch from San Crapcisco who would even propose them in the first place is cause for alarm.  The nation needs no more alarms; the current ones are enough.

Memo to America: the red pill promises you risk along with the potential for reward.  More importantly, it promises you freedom and liberty.  The blue pill promises you safety, but at the expense of freedom and liberty.  If you are willing to abandon the principles and tenets secured to you by a Constitution which has fostered – in pre-Wuhan virus days – the most prosperous, benevolent and powerful nation in the history of the world, take the blue pill.  In fact, take the whole bottle of blue pills.

On the other hand, if you believe that the time has come to act – as opposed to just thinking or talking about acting – and to fight back against the Deep State as well as against the Comeys, Clintons, Brennans, Clappers, Strzoks, Pelosis, Schumers, Schiffs, Nadlers, Bidens and yes, Obamas of the world, your “red-pill” opportunity will come on November 3, 2020.

As repeatedly counseled in the past, the leftists, progressives, radicals and Democrats who have thus far infected the nation with their own dangerous intellectual virus have proven beyond any doubt – let alone a “reasonable doubt” – that they have forfeited any claim of right, ability or competence to govern a free people in a constitutional republic.  Translation: virtually every Democrat up for election or re-election in November should be denied entry into or booted out of office.

And if you have any doubt that this course of action is the right one, just ask the residents of the nation’s blue areas, like New York, New York City, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California currently enduring the “save-the-village” ravages of their leaders.  Those blue areas are “governed” (some might argue “oppressed” is a better term) by blue pill poppers.  No, thank you.

Vote carefully in November.  Very carefully.
