Mayor Ganim Announces First Responders from Bridgeport and Surrounding Towns to Salute Healthcare Workers in Cares Caravan

(Apr. 16, 2020) — WHO:  Mayor Ganim, Bridgeport Police, Fire Department, Emergency Operations Center staff, Troop G, AMR, Life Star, WPLR, STAR99.9, WEBE 108, 95.9 The Fox, Fairfield Police and Fire, Stratford Fire and Police, St Vincent’s Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital staff, and community members

WHAT:  City of Bridgeport first-responders will travel in a caravan with lights and sirens to visit St Vincent’s Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital in an act of appreciation to salute frontline healthcare workers and to recognize patients that are currently in their care at the hospitals due to COVID-19.

WHEN:   Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 2:30 – 4 PM

WHERE:  2:30PM – 3PM: St Vincent’s Medical Center, coming in from Hawley Lane
3:30PM – 4PM: Bridgeport Hospital, coming in from Mill Hill Avenue
