Dear Editor,
Juvenile and adolescent violent and other crime in Australia is escalating in proportion to the weakening of consequences, repercussions and retribution handed out by Australia’s parents, education authorities and judiciary! The preceding, coupled with the so-often begetting of feral offspring by feral parents, will only be stemmed by Australia introducing Singaporean law-and-order methods, complete with the application of the rattan (beginning with the parents)!

Fortunately, the U.S. Constitution has the 8th Amendment outlawing the infliction of cruel and unusual punishment. Seriously, “the rattan”? I doubt Aussies would stand for “Singaporean Justice”.
