“UNSELFISH AMERICANISM”

(Feb. 6, 2020) — [Editor’s Note:  The following was circulated by email on Wednesday evening in response to President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday.  It is published here with the author’s permission.]

———————————–

I slept on this to be sure I wanted to send this.  Now that I’m awake I’m sure.  And it’s in part because I’m convinced that everyone‘s entitled to my opinion.  Please feel free to delete it without reading it if you don’t care; I won’t be offended in the least.

First off, at the top of my prayer list for yesterday was that POTUS wouldn’t say a word about impeachment.  The Lord was gracious to answer and I was, in short, surprised and delighted by the content and quality of the SOTU address.  As happy as I am with his performance in office, I tend to be a really harsh critic of his persona, his tweets and his behavior in general, but I believe that the address was the best I’ve ever heard from him and I was truly, positively impacted by it.

His recognition of

1) the gentleman from Ohio who went from addiction to a position of responsibility and reunion with his estranged family through the creation of an opportunity zone;

2) the centenarian, newly-minted brigadier general Tuskegee airman;

3) his grandson who aspires to the Space Force;

4) the fourth-grader from Philadelphia who received a school choice scholarship;

5) the prematurely-born and miraculously-saved two-year-old girl and her wonderfully pro-life mom;

6) President Guaido of Venezuela;

7) the reuniting of the deployed serviceman with his unsuspecting family; and

8) the presentation of the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh

9) POTUS’ recognition of the parents of Kayla Mueller, the young rescue worker who was raped and murdered by Soleimani

rounded out the speech with an actual, palpable emphasis on American accomplishments and great hope for the future of the USA.

I was deeply touched by the presence of Kayla Mueller’s parents. Additionally, when I saw the replay of the service family’s reunion, I noticed that Kayla’s dad – who was seated immediately behind Mrs. Williams – dropped his jaw in delight and immediately looked upward at the stairs, stood and applauded enthusiastically as her husband descended. It was a truly beautiful moment and a testimony to pure, unselfish Americanism.

To borrow a phrase from Monty Python, “And now for something completely different…”  there’s the behavior of the Democrats in general and the House Speaker in particular.

The appearance of those I call “The Stepford Wives,” those no-longer-freshman congresswomen who needed to dress in white as they did last year to set themselves apart from us underlings, was immature, annoying and unnecessary; we already know that they’re above us and oh, so much more important than everyone else.

The failure of the Democrats to stand or even applaud for outstanding achievements in all sectors of society was nothing short of disgusting.  If there ever was a display of contempt for us deplorable irredeemables, that was it.  ‘Nuf said.

But Madame Speaker set the tone for the evening by refusing to introduce POTUS the way every Speaker has since the beginning of live SOTUs – “Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor and privilege to present the President of the United States” – which makes it no wonder the President turned away before he had to shake her hand.  Had he touched her, he would have become infected with liberal cooties from which it would take him years to disinfect.

Pelosi spent the entire duration of the speech

1) posturing with her mouth in contempt;

2) adjusting her dentures, which she certainly can afford to have fixed;

3) reading ahead in her copy of the speech so she could be forewarned as to what was coming, so she could

4) signal her caucus as to how to respond – she used her eyes, her mouth and even her hand to show them CLEARLY how she felt it was appropriate for them to act.

But the crowning touch, the piéce de resistance, the climax of visual hatred, came from Madame Speaker when she took the time and effort to stand and tear in half four sections of his speech and then, with her left hand, throw them on the desk to her right… all in full view of the camera.

This is what the Speaker of the House feels, not just about a President who was duly elected, but especially about 63 million American voters.  May we remember this display by her and her caucus as we approach November 3rd of this year.

Cordially,

Psalm 94:19; Ecclesiastes 10:2

It’s fear more than hate that drives the attempts to remove President Trump from office. The many complicit in the installation of the ineligible, identity fraud con-artist Barack Hussein Obama are now in a big-time panic. That panic is because the planned in 2008 after Obama cover of Hillary Clinton failed and the “birther”, and Obama’s biggest nemesis, Donald Trump…..was elected in 2016. All complicit fear for themselves because they are part of the biggest criminal act against American citizens and her Constitution in history….which effectively gave America’s government and her military to the enemy. They must keep the truth hidden…………..to stay out of prison………….
Pelosi is one of the most complicit….go here for more on Pelosi and her complicity:

History is a pernicious thing. I trust the torn copy was saved, will be taped together, and a note added about the whole thing in the National Archives.

The president’s persona, to me, is that he doesn’t run around the world apologizing for his country and the people who live in it and pay his salary…in fact, we don’t really actually even pay this guy something he would miss and he still does the work.

He also doesn’t sell Uranium to Russia or Iran; supports our border agents, military, law enforcement, workforce.

That’s his persona.

I, personally, don’t need him to be a smooth-talker.

This is not JUST what they think of 63 million American voters. This is what they think of 90+ percent of the US population, and ANYONE in the world that believes in freedom and REAL national sovereignty.

A Mass of Perdition
Recently Pelosi responded to a journalist about her hate for Trump. She said that she did not hate anyone. She had nothing but love in her heart for everyone. Unfortunately, her hate for Trump was written all over her face during the SOTU address. She acted like a petulant child, flipping thru her copy of the address and flashing the pages in an attempt to detract from Trump and draw attention to herself.
With the ultimate act of disdain, she tore up her copy of the address saying later that “it was the courteous thing to do considering the alternative.”
The following was brought to my attention: The signed address delivered into Pelosi’s custody wasn’t hers to destroy.
18 U.S.C. § 2071(b)— specifically directed at custodians of public records. Any custodian of a public record who “willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys (any record) shall be fined not more than $2,000 or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.” While the range of acts proscribed by this subsection is somewhat narrower than subsection (a), it does provide the additional penalty of forfeiture of position with the United States.
Dressing in white, along with her sycophantic followers, I suppose she thought she could elevate herself above everyone and show herself as being “pure as the driven snow.” Instead, she came across as the leader of a “mass of perdition.”
