“REJECT THE POISONS”

(Feb. 23, 2019) — As the unfolding episodes in the soap opera of “Jussie Smollett and the Muggers” are revealed, it becomes increasingly clear that the leftists and their sycophants, including the mainstream media and everyone cuddled in the ranks of the Resist-Trumpers, are intent on mainstreaming something very disturbing: hatred.
Jussie Smollett’s clumsy (some would argue just plain stupid) hate-crime hoax merely underscores the reality – for anyone having the courage to see and acknowledge it – that the true reservoir of hatred, race-baiting and irrational fury in this nation is not found among the President, his supporters, most conservatives and in fact, the vast majority of everyday Americans. Instead, it is found in the hearts and brains (it is a misnomer to call that which a liberal harbors in his/her/xe’s cranium a “mind”) of the President’s detractors.
As proof that the hatred of President Trump residing in Smollett’s heart and brain completely blinded him, he seems to have concocted a two-pronged hoax to (a) invigorate his employer to give him a raise, and (b) blame the entire hoax on right-wingers and Trump supporters. In his brain, Smollett apparently believed that it would be a win-win gambit.
The plan was apparently to recruit two African-American friends to do a fake mugging on him, at 2:00 AM in the dead of a polar vortex winter, complete with the wearing of red hats easily confused with “MAGA” caps, instructions to shout “This is MAGA country!”, a noose tied around his neck and some bleach poured on him for good measure. For this, he paid them one Benjamin (for the mugging supplies, captured on video) and a separate check (BIG mistake # 1, Jussie…) for the “gentle” mugging services to be rendered. He would then call the cops, file a bogus police report (BIG mistake # 2, Jussie…), and then enlist his media pals to provide to him a forum to blame the “attack” on the toxic atmosphere of racial animosity purportedly created by President Trump and his supporters.
Wrong.
To begin with, as former basketball star Charles Barkley presciently observed, if you are going to commit a crime, do not use a check, which leaves a paper trail leading back to you. This is especially true when there is a chance that any co-conspirators you have conscripted for the task will turn state’s evidence when they are arrested, questioned and the crime is exposed. Oh, and BTW, it is a bit of a stretch to call Chicago “MAGA country.” Red flag # 45… get a better screenwriter.
Second, all of this slow-moving train wreck simply underscores the discovery following President Trump’s election of a new isotope of the everyday hatred of him expressed by the left, progressives and most Democrat leaders in Congress: arrogant hatred (Periodic Table symbol: AH; atomic number: zero). The detestation and hatred practiced by these folks draws its arrogance from the notion that the media will run cover for their every misdeed and false narrative.
The initial reaction of the media was to rush to Smollett’s aid by ratifying and propagating what is turning out to be a colossal lie, yet ignore real hate crimes… like this one. Let us wait and see if the feckless mayor of Oakland is as concerned about finding the attacker on the Berkeley campus as she was concerned about warning illegal aliens in her city of impending ICE sweeps.
With Democrats descending lower and lower in their search for ways to undermine and frustrate the efforts of President Trump to “make America great again,” they do a colossal disservice to the nation and to the electorate. Much like Jussie Smollett, their hatred for President Trump has completely eclipsed their purported love of country and blinded them to reality. Anything and everything – even if demonstrably false – which can be conceived, concocted or contrived to trash the president and his supporters is fair game to these “Americans.”
And with the aid and comfort supplied to them by a mainstream media that long ago has forfeited any claim to status as an independent and objective Fourth Estate, this aggregated cabal might now be seen to be practicing the same type of behavior used by a heroin addict: direct hypodermic injection into a vein of the desired drug. On the street, this is called “mainlining.” The only two material differences here are that (1) the drug addict uses heroin while the cabal uses AH; and (2) the drug addict injects into his/her/xe’s own veins while the cabal is injecting AH into the minds of the American population at large.
Memo to America: both drugs and AH are very bad for you. Get help or go cold turkey, but get off these poisons. And remember, some of the best and most respected conservatives were converts. There is still plenty of time for “ordinary” Americans who may be registered Democrats to reject the poisons being injected into their minds, re-register (as did President Reagan) and join in the effort to get this nation back on track in 2020. Yes, it is that serious.
Memo to Smollett, the media and the leftists: elections have consequences. Trump won. Clinton lost. Grow up and get over it.
