CLAIM:  “DEEP STATE” ABOUT TO BE “BLOWN OPEN”

by Sharon Rondeau

(Sep. 17, 2018) — On Monday night’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity said that documents President Trump approved for declassification associated with FISA warrants on Carter Page are expected to be released “any time.”

In the White House’s statement earlier in the day, Trump instructed the documents be made public “immediately.”

Hannity reminded his audience that he predicted that Democrats would try to jettison the nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court of Judge Brett Kavanaugh after Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley announced a public hearing next Monday, further delaying a committee vote after Democrats demanded it.

Late last week, ranking committee member Dianne Feinstein said she had a letter from a constituent claiming that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s.  While the accuser said she wanted to maintain her confidentiality, it came to light Monday that she reportedly took a polygraph test about her claims last month and hired “MeToo” attorney Debra Katz.

Both accuser Christine Blasey Ford and Katz are Democrat activists, Hannity reported Monday.  He recounted that he expected that Kavanaugh would undergo character assassination by Senate Democrats in much the same way that Robert Bork’s 1987 nomination by President Ronald Reagan was torpedoed.

In 1991, Clarence Thomas, who eventually was confirmed to the Supreme Court, was accused by Anita Hill of sexual harassment.  Thomas, who is black, called the accusations a “high-tech lynching.”

The woman accusing Kavanaugh claims that he attempted to force himself on her while another high-school male was present and they were inebriated.  Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the claim, as has the former classmate.

Dozens who attended high school at the same time as Kavanaugh and were acquainted with him said in a letter Friday posted on the Senate Judiciary Committee’s website that the described behavior does not match their recollections of him.  Some have had television interviews.

Last fall, a half-dozen women came forward claiming that Judge Roy Moore, who was running for the U.S. Senate in a special election in Alabama, either flirted with them inappropriately or committed attempted sexual assault.  Moore lost the election to Democrat Doug Jones, bringing the number of Senate Republicans to 51 from 52.

One of Moore’s accusers filed a defamation lawsuit against him, after which Moore counter-sued her.  The other accusers have not been heard from since.

In his opening remarks, Hannity announced that Carter Page will be his guest on Monday evening, among others.

Regarding the allegation of Trump-Russia “collusion,” Hannity reported that former FBI counsel to the deputy director Lisa Page testified behind closed doors in July that the FBI had no evidence to believe its veracity when Special Counsel Robert Mueller was brought in to lead the investigation.

Hannity said he believes the “Deep State,” which refers to entrenched government bureaucrats, is about to be “blown open.”
