(Apr. 5, 2018) — On Thursday night’s “Hannity” broadcast, host Sean Hannity announced that newly-released text messages between FBI Counterintellience Deputy Chief Peter Strzok and FBI Staff Attorney Lisa Page show that the Obama White House was receiving “high-level briefings” about the Trump/Russia investigation launched in 2016.
Page and Strzok were once involved in the probe, begun by the FBI and now led by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III, to discover whether or not anyone from the Trump campaign “colluded” with Kremlin operatives to win the White House in 2016.
Believed to have been romantically involved, Strzok and Page exchanged tens of thousands of text messages between 2016 and 2017, some of which appear to have demonstrated an animus toward Trump possibly culminating in interference in the election or its results.
In recent weeks, Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, has been said to be under investigation for his possible involvement role in the launching of the FBI counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign, which included as a central part four FISA applications to obtain surveillance warrants on then-informal Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Early this year, it came to light that the applications submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) by DOJ and FBI officials were based in large part upon the now-infamous Trump “dossier” obtained through political channels not revealed to the judges on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC).
Early in Thursday’s broadcast, Hannity reminded his audience that House Permanent Subcommittee on Intelligence (HPSCI) Chairman Devin Nunes in a letter gave the FBI and Justice Department an ultimatum of next Wednesday for the agency to turn over an unredacted version of the “EC” (Electronic Communication) which gave rise to the counterintelligence operation into Trump and his aides.
Nunes’s renewed demand for the document was first reported on Wednesday by investigative reporter Sara A. Carter.
Strzok was reportedly removed from the Russia investigation last summer after his and Page’s compromising text messages were discovered by the Justice Department’s inspector general, who is compiling a report as to whether or not political bias was a factor exhibited by FBI and DOJ leadership.
Many commentators have criticized the FBI for failing to recommend for prosecution former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as a result of her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state between 2009 and 2013. On July 5, 2016, former FBI Director James B. Comey gave a press conference during which he claimed that no “reasonable prosecutor” would pursue a case against Clinton given that she did not “intend” any harm when she sent classified information through her unsecured system.
In early February, a text message exchanged between Page and Strzok said that Obama “wanted “to know everything we’re doing.”
On March 28, Fox News reported that “Newly uncovered text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest a possible coordination between high-ranking officials at the Obama White House, CIA, FBI, Justice Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in the early stages of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, according to GOP congressional investigators on Wednesday.”
Although announcing the revelation that the “new” text messages reportedly show White House involvement in the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign, Hannity did not elaborate further during his one-hour program.

Of course Obama knew everything. This fraud and his leftist cabal including the leadership at the DOJ and FBI were running the most anti-American criminal enterprise in the history of our country. Until we can get the sycophantic media to report the truth at least half of the country – if not more – will continue to believe that this despicable, treasonous phony can do no wrong. The person who calls himself Barack Hussein Obama continues to be a threat to America and can be accurately characterized as the preeminent swamp creature.
