WOULD A CONVENTION OF STATES RESTORE CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT?

by Col. Thomas E. Davis (Ret), ©2018

Article V of the U.S. Constitution sets forth ways in which the the founding document can be amended, including by calling a “convention”

(Apr. 3, 2018) — [Editor’s Note:  The following was sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the White House.  “COS” refers to “Convention of States.”]

It is long past due for the feckless Congress to be brought to a screeching halt upon a short chain and forced to call an Art V COS. They have ignored the law and their sworn oath of office for at LEAST the past 27 years. Their abominable arrogance has done us all a nearly irreversible disservice. We, their legal overseers, need to propose all or at least some of the matter noted in the 2nd attachment above which will bring Congress people DOWN to their proper place (Voluntary Servitude) in our national hierarchy.
