“I’m Really Trying to Understand”

ARE TRUMP’S OPPONENTS LOOKING AT HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS FAIRLY?

(Jan. 18, 2018) — I am honestly and earnestly trying to understand what President Trump has done or is doing that has my fellow American citizens of the Democrat Party Leadership, and some in the Republican Party Leadership, and management and employees of news outlets, so upset that what ever he gets accomplished is, to them, so bad for the country. I say Democrat and Republican Party Leadership because I don’t believe most rank and file everyday folks registered in the Democrat and Republican Party feel the same way they do. I have heard it said, and I believe rightfully so, that if President Trump suddenly came up with a way to instantly prevent and cure cancer they collectively would find something to criticize him about it.

Let’s for just a moment lay aside what one may not like about his personality, demeanor, attitude, appearance, political in-correctness, the way he smiles, the way he walks (of which I am not one of but will give you that), the party he is a member of, etc., and ask ourselves, has he been able to get anything of a positive nature done for the people of the United States of America. Not for a political party or some other country and its people, but America and its people, all of us, black, white or otherwise, Christian, Jew or otherwise, you and me, regardless of whether we belong to something or not, except just being a citizen of the United States of America.

I’ve listed above the most publicly known decried reasons for his critics to not like him. I will here list only a few of the things which have changed for the positive good since he was sworn into office one year ago. It is only a few because the entire list would be too long to hold your attention, kind of like he said while campaigning, “you’re going to get tired of winning.”

(1) More than 2 million new non-farm jobs have come into being, (2) overall unemployment is at the lowest in 18 years (4.1), (3) among working age black men it’s the lowest on record (6.8%), (4) Hispanic unemployment lowest ever at 4.7%, (5) all companies, both large and small, plus 90% of all working taxpaying citizens received a substantial reduction in their Federal Income Taxes to be paid (equating to a salary increase), (6)401k retirement savings accounts have increased 20 to 35% because of the value of stocks in those accounts with the market at now above 26,000, (7 )over 100 large corporations have announced giving bonuses or raises or both to almost all employees (announcing that it’s because of the corporate tax reductions), (8) Many major corporations have announced they are returning their businesses to the United States, Chrysler moving their Ram Truck manufacturing plant back to Michigan from Mexico, spending over 1 billion dollars and employing over 2,200 people plus giving all their American workers bonuses, and Toyota/Mazda building a manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama which will build 300,000 new cars per year and employ 4,000 American workers, now the latest, just today, Apple announces they will build a new facility in The U.S. and employ 20,000 people with the 350 billion dollars they are returning to America from their offshore cash holdings which will also result in a 38 billion dollar corporate tax payment to the Federal government, (9) more than 850 Federal business stifling and job killing regulations have been repealed, (10) offshore oil exploration has been opened up including the ANWR region in Alaska, (11) The ISIS terrorist organization in the Middle East has been obliterated, (12) illegal border crossings have been cut in half and that’s without the wall that’s coming. You should get the picture with this small listing of the positive good this man has overseen.

Now I ask you to go back to the second paragraph and compare those things which one may not like about President Trump to those things in the last paragraph. Is there anything in this last paragraph which you don’t like? Would you rather see it return to where it was a year ago? What you have read here in the positive good paragraph is not politics. It is real happenings; think about it, think about it with an open and fair mind.
