(Nov. 1, 2017) — Bridgeport, CT – November 1, 2017 Career Resources, Inc. in collaboration with the American Job Center, The WorkPlace, and Department of Labor, have partnered to officially open the Puerto Rico Relief Center. This initiative is designed to help families transition from Puerto Rico to the Bridgeport Community. The center will provide employment assistance, referrals for housing, healthcare, food, clothing, etc. Non-profits, community leaders, and Bridgeport residents are working together and have generously donated food and other supplies to prepare welcoming packing for the families.

“It is critical and necessary that we welcome and support the families of Puerto Rico that have lost so much.  For in this embracing gesture we exhibit the true spirit of this great City,” says Scott Wilderman, CEO of Career Resources.

The grand opening of the Puerto Rico Center will take place Wednesday, November 1st at the American Job Center, 2 Lafayette Square Bridgeport CT.  The event will start at 10:00 am.
