“WHERE IS THE MEMO?”

(Feb. 17, 2017) — Shortly before 11 AM EST on Friday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in a tweet denied an Associated Press report purportedly based on a memo from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) alleging that President Donald Trump is considering calling up the National Guard to assist in removing illegal aliens from the country.
The story had been published at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST.
In a lengthy press conference on Thursday, Trump berated the mainstream media for distorting the facts, producing “fake news,” and harboring “hatred” toward him in its coverage and commentary of the young administration.
On Friday morning at 11 AM EST, Trump will be giving his weekly address on the White House Facebook page.
After noting Spicer’s claim that the AP article is false, The Post & Email contacted the news outlet via the email address provided requesting to see the memo to which the article alluded.
