(Jan. 21, 2017) — Just because you happened to be born black does NOT make me feel sorry for you. This quote from Dr. Ben Carson is so valuable and meaningful, as are the rest at the site from which this came.” I could easily have decided that life was cruel, that being black meant everything was stacked against me.” — Ben Carson: https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/b/ben_carson_

Quite obviously, Dr. Carson NEVER considered his skin color or his race to be a life-threatening handicap. He is living proof and a role model any young man or woman, black, white, brown or yellow, can and ought to emulate.  AND if you greatly over-compensated, unpatriotic, unprofessional, narcissistic, arrogant, self-indulgent punks in the uniform of some capitalistic sports enterprise fail to understand just how fortunate and privileged you are to be living in these United States of America, get out!

Just during your pitiful, selfish lifetimes, over 7,000 young, patriotic Americans, men and women, have sacrificed their lives in the cause of freedom for Iraq and Afghanistan. During the same time frame, some 51,000 have been wounded. Many of the wounded lost one or more limbs, received ghastly, extensive burns, lost their eyes or hearing, and you fools “Take a Knee” when our National Anthem is played and OUR flag is displayed.  In a word, “DESPICABLE.”

Iraq War 4,800 31,965 2003 – Present
Afghanistan 2,344 19,675

2001 – Present

Shame, shame on YOU! If you are too cowardly to fight or to HONOR our Flag, APOLOGIZE TO AMERICA or turn in that discredited uniform.

I have no clue to whom attribution is owed for these two photos, but I thank you and our veterans thank you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Thomas E. Davis, Colonel, USA (Ret)
