“DEMAND AN END TO POLITICAL PARTIES”

by Dr. Thomas E. Davis, Colonel, USA (Ret), ©2016

(Nov. 20, 2016) — Is the United States of America a democracy? Surprise, surprise! To those of you who answered resoundingly, YES! You are wrong! The United States is a ‘Democratic’ Republic. Although, today, November 20, 2016, the news media and the Democrat Party are pretending that this once-glorious and God-worshiping nation has morphed from a “Democratic Republic” into a ‘democracy.’

The word ‘democracy’ has derived from the Greek word “demos,” meaning ‘the common people, or the populace.” It has no relevance as a state or a nation; it literally means “The People “and not the form of their government. If asked, “Do you live in a ‘democracy?’” The correct response is “No, I live in a Democratic Republic.” As a matter of fact, ‘democracy’ is in actual meaning and usage a pejorative, having the sense of “The mob of people.” A democracy works well in a small town where the citizens can meet in a town hall setting and make decisions and laws affecting their area. Try imagining the ‘demos’ of the city of New York meeting anywhere to make applicable decisions. It is not only impractical; it is downright impossible. Our system is beautifully explained in a speech given by Daneen G. Peterson, Ph.D. September 9, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah titled, “America is a Constitutional Republic . . . NOT a Democracy.”

Quoting from Dr. Peterson’s speech, “The goal of a Constitutional Republic was to avoid the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy but what exists in America today is a far cry from the Constitutional Republic our forefathers brought forth.

“Today we have DO have [sic] a mobocracy occurring in our streets all across America.  Sadly, such mobocracy or ‘mob rule’ was endorsed and encouraged by Sen. John McCain who praised the recent wave of pro-illegal immigration demonstrations by saying . . . “if the protesters hang tough they will succeed in forcing Congress to liberalize immigration laws.  If such demonstrations continue, I think we will have a bill for the President to sign soon . . . The more debate, the more demonstrations, the more likely we will prevail.’   He was of course referring to the Senate’s massive illegal-alien amnesty bill S. 2611 which did in fact, pass.  Was S. 2611 passed to appease the mob? If so, it is a perfect example of rule by mobocracy!

“Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution states:  “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each  of them against Invasion . . .

“Not only is our Constitution being ignored, the exact OPPOSITE is being encourage by John McCain and seconded  by ALL those who voted for S. 2611 in the Senate.  If you want to preserve the Constitutional Republic you should vote out of office . . . every single senator that voted for S. 2611.”

He noted two dangers that have become too much a part of our current government; RINOs like Senator John McCain and the mobocracy that results from the democracy foretold by Plato in his seminal work, “The Republic.”

I have noted in previous articles and in my books that we are living in “God’s Chosen Republic.” We are, however, departing from the course charted by the Founding Fathers. In this year’s quadrennial presidential election, the Democrat Party’s candidate was a scandalous female incapable of telling the truth, versus a conservative Republican who, though most definitely adhering to the principles of the Founders and the Constitution, aroused the disrespectful conduct associated with a “Mobocracy.” They are still holding “Cry-ins,” calling President-elect Trump the most atrocious and degrading names and many even threatening to leave this great country.  To them I say goodbye and good riddance.

Teachers in some schools are not only encouraging students to protest but are also offering counseling for those who appear to be overwrought. Hundreds, if not thousands, of millennial protestors flooded onto Fifth Avenue to raise their pathetic opposition to Mr. Trump’s election and urged on by the limp, vapid and indecisive mainstream media. These crybaby kids are being shortchanged by no-longer-patriotic and dutiful educators who are more interested in their salary than in the education of our children.

Even the racial epithets and overtones exhibited in the protests are indicative of a total unawareness on the part of teenagers and older millennials of the true nature of the Democrat Party’s manipulation and deception of black citizens ever since the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  The Democrats DEMAND that blacks be dependent on the phony largess of their Food Stamps, Medicaid and inferior schools. The teaching of Civics is no longer a priority in secondary schools; therefore, students get no formal education in civil liberties, rights, privileges and patriotic Americanism.

Our phony and faux president keeps on pouring out the Kool-Aid for the people’s and the children’s consumption. He has set this great Democratic Republic back several generations from the course charted by George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and at least the 52 other delegates to the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and all those Colonials who came to these shores in search of something better than that which 17th Century England had to offer.

Wise up, children and parents; learn the truth about what your government is doing, what it is supposed to be doing and how you can become an active part of the American Dream as opposed to the nightmare the is prayerfully concluding with the inauguration of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump. Demand an end to political parties.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
