TRUMP ON “SAVAGE NATION” ON FRIDAY, 3:00 P.M.

(Oct. 14, 2016) — All of the Clinton campaign activities between now and the third and final presidential debate October 19 will be hosted by surrogates for the candidate but not the candidate herself.
On Thursday, Clinton appeared at a fundraiser in San Francisco; the previous day, she appeared at two rallies in the West.
Virtually all of the Clinton events between October 14 and October 25 are hosted by surrogates to raise money, while Trump events feature the candidate campaigning in North Carolina, New Hampshire, Maine, Colorado and Wisconsin between the 14th and 19th.
Clinton’s vice-presidential pick, Sen. Tim Kaine, is appearing four times during that same time period. Two of the stops are voter registration drives, while one is an “organizing event” and the other a fundraiser.
Republican vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence is appearing at two locations in Florida today and will be campaigning in Ohio on Monday.
Update, 4:40 p.m. EDT: At 4:38 p.m. EDT, after several delays in Trump’s appearance, Savage announced that the Trump campaign had contacted him, that it was “in the air,” and that Trump would therefore not be able to appear on Friday. The announcement came after Savage said the campaign told him that there had been some type of “emergency” causing Trump to have to delay his expected appearance in the first hour of the show to the second.
