POSSIBLE CANINE DEATH, VEHICULAR ASSAULT ON DISPLAY THIS CAMPAIGN SEASON

(Oct. 1, 2016) — Bloggers Gateway Pundit and Mike Cernovich have posted a video on their websites from Twitter depicting four men assaulting a woman in her front yard, stealing her Trump/Pence sign, then driving away gleefully (warning: explicit and offensive language; not for children).
The video, apparently posted by the perpetrators, depicts them stealing additional Trump/Pence signs as they drive through the neighborhood.
Last Friday, The Post & Email spoke with a homeowner who was verbally assaulted by an uninvited guest who drove onto her property, opened her vehicle door, approached her unsolicited with a handbag over her shoulder and proceeded to “scream” at her while asking if she had placed the “Trump sign” on her property.
Interestingly, the Trump sign which had been in the homeowner’s yard for months had disappeared 7-10 days before the uninvited woman’s arrival and emotional outburst.
The visitor reportedly finished her tirade after a minute or two and drove away without anyone coming to physical harm. The homeowner said she did not call the police but that she has a witness to the incident.
The confiscation of Trump/Pence campaign signs is not new, with mainstream media having reported the phenomenon in August and September in different parts of the country.
One thief who had stolen three signs from the same homeowner left a typewritten letter on the victim’s property, which is located in Walpole, MA.
“People of your kind of are in fact, the most dimwitted, low level, simpletons that any well-developed nation has to offer…” the thief wrote in his missive left on the property.
Elsewhere in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a woman was caught on video stealing a Trump sign, the seventh such loss for that particular resident. It was unclear whether or not the same perpetrator is suspected of carrying out all seven thefts.
On August 9, The Boston Globe reported that a woman from North Reading destroyed a Trump sign and “nearly ran over the sign’s owner as she sped away from his Andover lawn.”
On Wednesday, NBC News reported that an Indiana homeowner “carved a giant ‘Trump’ into his lawn after several campaign signs were stolen (see video).
In New York State, after five Trump sign thefts, a homeowner decided to encase his newest sign in cement, with barbed wire surrounding it, to deter further vandalism.
On August 18, 2016, Boston.com published an article titled, “The Trump yard sign-stealing epidemic has gotten seriously out-of-hand in Massachusetts.”
Stealing yard signs is considered larceny in many states, including in Massachusetts.
A resident of Staten Island who had erected a giant 3-dimensional “T” sign with red, white and blue superimposed on a black background found it ablaze one morning in early August.
In Texas in late August, a couple reported their Hillary Clinton signs stolen, a “Hillary for Prison” sign slid under their door, and their dog poisoned to death.
In July, Both Trump and Clinton signs were reported taken in Port Townsend, WA.
In August of last year, a resident of The Hamptons reported multiple “Hillary for Prison” signs stolen from his yard and resorted to placing them on an electrified 12-foot-high pole with warning signs and a surveillance camera.
Also on Wednesday, a local Des Moines, IA television station depicted both Clinton and Trump signs stolen from homeowners.
Last weekend, eight Trump/Pence signs were reportedly stolen from a grassy area in Athens, GA.
On August 9 of this year, CNN titled a report, “Why are Donald Trump’s signs being stolen?”

About three Saturdays ago I and a handful of Republicans put up Trump campaign signs along with state and congress
(PA) yard-signs in the DuBois, PA area. At first I noticed the Trump signs started to go missing, then lately many of
the other signs are missing too. These signs were put mostly along the highway. However, I have not noticed nor heard of
signs at homes being touched.
At a local NAPA parts store the owner put two small Trump signs and both were taken. At this store, it was caught on
video. Also, a nut-ball came into the store and he was hostile to the workers. The owner stated to me he would not
put another sign up because of complaints from customers.
I have assisted with this project for a several years, and by far this year has been the worst in “missing” signs.
Perhaps this is some sort of gauge or indicator.
That “better than you” lefty who left that note omitted two lefty traits from his self-description: intolerant and criminal.
2008: The first McCain-Palin yard sign I put up (on the city owned grass-strip between the sidewalk and the street) was gone the morning after. The 2nd one I put up (on my lawn about 30 feet from the sidewalk) was gone three days later. The 3rd one I put up (cable-tied to the wrought iron railing along the walkway from my driveway to my home) was gone two days later. I called the police, the police came, the police told me they were inundated with calls about McCain-Palin yard signs being stolen but unless they caught someone in the act there wasn’t anything they could do about it. Election day morning at 6am I set-up the Republican table at my polling place (elementary school), put-up 10 McCain-Palin yard signs along the grassy-strip between the sidewalk and street in front of the polling place parking lot, went to MacDonald’s and got a breakfast platter to go, got back to the polling place in less than 15-minutes and all 10 McCain-Palin signs had been replaced with Obama-Biden signs.
