WHAT: Mayor Ganim to join Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez, other police officials, Bridgeport city council members and other dignitaries to officially graduate the latest class of recruits as new police officers for the city of Bridgeport. This new class of 31 recruits is the most diverse in Bridgeport history and includes 29 Bridgeport residents and nine women. This is the first of three planned police recruit classes to graduate and replenish the depleted ranks of the Bridgeport Police Department.
