HOUSE BILL 5408 WOULD REQUIRE ANY INDIVIDUAL OPENLY CARRYING A FIREARM TO PRODUCE THEIR PERMIT IF ASKED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

(Apr. 26, 2016) — Police Officers from Bridgeport, Trumbull and Stratford to call for legislative passage of House Bill No. 5408, “An Act Concerning the Presentation of a Carry Permit” which would clarify the law regarding open carry of firearms.  Specifically, it would require anyone open carrying a firearm to present their permit to law enforcement when asked.

I believe our open carry permit resides in the national archives and it’s called the second amendment.

Your permit – is the 2nd Amendment which PROTECTS everyone’s right to carry and that should be enough.
