BEN CARSON LEFT STANDING BACKSTAGE

(Feb. 6, 2016) — At 8:16 p.m. EST, ABC News moderators called the seven top-polling Repuoblican candidates out on to the stage in the wrong alphabetical order and neglected to call Ohio Gov. John Kasich until someone mentioned that he was not yet out on the stage.
Although Dr. Ben Carson should have been called first alphabetically, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was called first, then Sen. Ted Cruz, while Carson stood in the wings looking bewildered.
Donald Trump’s name was called, but he held back with Carson, placing his hand briefly on Carson’s shoulder.
