(Jan. 26, 2016) — DALLAS, TX, January 26, 2016 | TruthPR.com | — A grass-roots effort is spreading across the United States to stop a movement which seeks to nationalize education.

Known as “Common Core” – academic elites, politicians and activists want to reduce the importance of standardized testing which measures core competencies like math and English.

Scheduled Jan. 29 – 30 in Houston, Texas – “It’s All About the Child Conference” will tackle the key components of Common Core.

The conference will provide tools for parents to fight government advances that want to dumb down education that ultimately create a work force of lower level employees.

The conference will feature such noted speakers as Dr. Peg Luksik – foremost expert on testing and assessments; Dr. Duke Pesta, – Professor who will speak about the Transformation in Education; Joan Landes – who compares the latest in Neuroscience versus what’s being done in schools and many others.

The fight to rescue our kids, and our nation, from this blatant attempt to dumb down academics and create a happily compliant workforce has just begun.

The conference will present the dangers inherent to an education system that serves bureaucrats rather than students.

Our children are the most vulnerable individuals in society. “An entire generation of children will be lost because of the curriculum that is developmentally inappropriate before age of 10. Ethically this will plow through the hearts and minds of children,” says education specialist Dr. Peg Luksik.

The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Houston, Texas – Katy Freeway. A special reduced fee is available to view via live streaming.
