COULD IT BE THAT “THE TRUTH” MIGHT RUIN THEM?

(Sep. 21, 2015) — After a Trump townhall attendee voiced his concern on Thursday over “Muslims” in the United States, referring to those populating known terrorist training camps, while opining that Obama is “not an American” and is himself a Muslim, mainstream media anchors, co-hosts and pundits immediately excoriated Tromp for not having “corrected” the questioner.
Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly, who hosts her own program, “The Kelly File,” adamantly and stridently demanded to know why Trump did not respond differently then he did, which was to say, in general terms, “We’ll be looking at a lot of things.”
On Friday, Kelly called the incident a “growing scandal” and a “dust-up.”
After the Thursday night encounter, the story was on CNN and Fox every hour, and seemingly on MSNBC every 10 minutes. And for the first time since he jumped into the race, Trump seemed to have briefly lost control of his campaign narrative.
This has given the pundits who have never liked Trump a chance to pounce. It’s also cast a harsh spotlight on the birther rhetoric he was pushing four years ago. And it’s a self-inflicted wound.
In a presentation to what appeared to be a focus group outside of her normal FNC role, Kelly imperiously insisted that the contention that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim is false. “He’s not a Muslim,” Kelly told her audience, referred to as “a panel” by blogger “The Right Scoop,” after a person commented that some presumably unsettling items in Obama’s past have come to the fore over the last seven years.
About Kelly’s behavior during the discussion, TopRightNews remarked, “…is it really Megyn’s role to intimidate and censor members her own panel? [sic] And how does she know for a fact Obama is not a Muslim?”
Last fall, Kelly questioned then-Attorney General Eric Holder for his decision to assign 40 FBI agents to investigate the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, but she has of late cut off anyone who has questioned Obama’s credentials or background.
ABC’s Jake Tapper asked Trump why he did not attempt to tamp down the “hatred” he claimed the questioner exhibited.
The questioner’s focus was not Obama’s religion nor that he appeared to him to be un-American, but rather, the fact that terrorist training camps have been allowed to continue their operation and increase in number during the years of the Obama regime.
Obama has himself claimed he is a Muslim in a 2008 interview with George Stephanopoulos, who hastily “corrected” the statement to say, “my Christian faith,” with which Obama then agreed.
“Trump doesn’t challenge anti-Muslim questioner at event,” crowed CNN’s Theodore Schleifer on Friday evening.
TIME characterized the questioner’s comments as indicating that he wants “Muslims” removed from the country rather than perhaps only “Muslims” active in terror training camps.
Trump’s fellow Republican presidential contenders also seized upon the opportunity to criticize Trump for “how he handles different problems like this.” On NBC’s “Today” show, New Jersey Chris Christie said he “wouldn’t have allowed it” at a townhall meeting of his own.
TIME additionally reported that Trump was “slammed by rivals” for his response to the “Muslim question.”
Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she was “appalled” by Trump’s approach to the Thursday night question. PBS called the questioner’s comments “bigoted,” while White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest termed them part of Trump’s “cynical strategy.”
Obama himself has said that he is a Muslim and insisted that the United States “is not at war with Islam.” He also declared in a 2012 speech to the United Nations, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
Major media does not appear concerned that Muslims, some of whom are reported to have fraudulent passports and other identification papers as Syrians presumably posing as “refugees,” have violently attacked young women, destroyed the landscape of their would-be host countries, and announced their permeation of all European countries to wreak havoc on Western societies.
Islamic radicals have carried out terror attacks not publicized in American media.
Co-hosting “Today” during Christie’s appearance was Savannah Guthrie, who claimed on April 27, 2011 that she saw and felt a “raised seal” on a document she said was a certified copy of Obama’s long-form birth certificate released that day by the White House. Guthrie also took photos of the “document” which she posted on Twitter and other social media.
Last week, The Post & Email found that those photos have disappeared.
The “document” was immediately declared a forgery by several experts. In September of that year. The Maricopa County Cold Case Posse launched a criminal investigation at the request of Sheriff Joseph M. Arpaio, who was approached by approximately 250 constituents concerned that their votes would be disenfranchised should the long-form birth certificate turn out to in fact be fraudulent.
Despite to press conferences in 2012 revealing the posse’s findings, the mainstream media never broadcasted them on radio or television. While some Internet coverage was published, sarcasm and ridicule were often apparent in the reporters’ accounts of the pressers.
“Birthers,” or anyone who has doubted Obama’s life story, claim of a birth in Hawaii on August 4, 1961, or questioned his patriotism or claimed Christianity has been treated with disdain, disrespect, and a clear attempt at silencing by members of the mainstream media.
During a recent interview between Arpaio and Tapper, rather than exhibiting curiosity as to how Arpaio and his posse arrived at their conclusions about the birth certificate, Tapper contended that Arpaio and Trump had “trafficked in this rather preposterous notion that President Obama was not born in the United States and that he may have forged his birth certificate that he released…” (5:24). “Why would you risk your credibility…?” Tapper asked.
Arpaio has never claimed that Obama created the forgery.
Tapper called illegal aliens “undocumented workers” who “come here for a better life.”
Following Arpaio’s response that as the head law enforcer in Maricopa County, AZ, he “has a right to investigate and speak out,” Tapper asked, “Is there any credible law enforcement person outside of you and your organization, your contractors, who has any agreement with you on this?”
Arpaio responded, “They haven’t looked at it,” to which Tapper claimed, “Because he (Obama) was born in Hawaii.”
With a small grin on his face, Tapper concluded the interview after Arpaio declined to elucidate on the techniques used to determine that the image is a forgery.
MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell pressed Trump’s Iowa co-chairman if she had “looked at” the long-form birth certificate and if Trump, who claimed he had sent investigators to Hawaii at approximately the same time at which it was posted at whitehouse.gov, would release his findings.
Trump has not discussed the alleged investigation since declaring its launch in 2011. Recounting Trump’s words that his investigators discovered “absolutely unbelievable” information about Obama, O’Donnell asked, “When will the time be right to reveal [the discoveries]?…
O’Donnell’s other questions included “Do you believe President Obama was born in the United States? Do you believe he was born in Hawaii? Do you believe the birth certificate that’s been produced is fake? Have you ever looked at it?”
O’Donnell did not explain why, as a media anchor, he did not investigate it.
In June of last year, “Freedom Friday” host Carl Gallups, who has been close to the Cold Case Posse’s investigation, declared on his show that Obama “comes from a deep Sunni background.”
Islam has two main sects which are often at odds with each other: Sunni and Shia. The Iranian Republic consists largely of Shia Muslims, while Saudi Arabia is predominantly Sunni.
Could the media’s fierce reaction to Trump’s response to the townhall attendee be motivated by the fear that his investigators will one day expose them as having participated in a conspiracy to propel and maintain a fraud in the White House for the last seven years?
