DOES THE MEDIA KNOW ITS ROLE ANYMORE?

(Jun. 10, 2015) — Phoenix, AZ — The leader of the pro-police movement Rally For L.E. is calling for the news media in this country to stop attacking police officers and says he supports the McKinney police officer Eric Casebolt who was suspended and then forced to resign for simply doing his duty.
“The so-called mainstream news media in this country is out of control and it’s pretty evident many of them have waged a propaganda war against the cops. Almost every day the public sees another anti-cop story coming from a lot of the news outlets in this country. It’s time the media stopped attacking the police and started reporting the true news which includes the truth. What happened in McKinney, Texas is that a police officer did their job and is now being punished for it, not just by some members of the public, but by the news media itself. In my opinion, a majority of the media have lost their objectivity and it’s disgusting how disrespectful they’re being towards those that wear that uniform and that badge. I want the members of law enforcement to know that there are still good people that support what they do and appreciate the sacrifice they’ve made to keep our community safe despite what the media decides to post or air,” said Rally For L.E.’s leader Nohl Rosen.
Rosen says other rallies to support the police are being planned, including their national Link In The Chain rally which takes place on September 26th. To reach Rally For L.E. you can reach the movement on Facebook at www.facebook.com/RallyForLE and on Twitter at twitter.com/RallyForLE. A website for the movement is being worked on and should be online soon.

A big “A M E N” to that. “To protect and serve” is on the side of many cop cars … and they live by that motto (it’s not just pretty words).
