Sheriff Tom Lorey (Fulton County) is urging the people of New York to head to Albany on Tuesday June 9th. He is putting out a call to SCOPE and all law-abiding citizens to join together and walk through the halls of the Legislative Office Building to inform the elected official that the people are totally fed up with their illogical and inappropriate governing. It’s time – FULL Repeal of the Safe Act – NOW!

This “IS” a time for MINUTEMAN action. WE are short on time – no time to hesitate – Let’s do this!!!!
On Tuesday June 9th – while Albany is in session – beginning at NOON – WE march through the halls of every floor of the LOB chanting “WE Will Not Comply – FULL Repeal of the Safe Act NOW.”

The lead message is for Full Repeal of the Safe Act. The subliminal message is to withdraw the corrupt procedures and lawless actions that the Safe Act represents. This is a firm message to all the elected to “shape up or ship out.” Stop with the lawlessness. Government is not a game where three men in a room call the shots – not a profession where the players use the people as pawns for their own personal gain – not an elite club where laws apply to others and not themselves.
Government must stop with the endless passing of manipulating statutes that are crushing the good working folks with ever higher taxes, escalating fees and over regulating every aspect of life. Stop passing laws and start repealing them.
Start by the immediate FULL Repeal of the Safe Act – do it NOW – before the end of the current session.
We have called, written, emailed and lobbied the Albany legislators. We feel it is about time they see us up close and personal. If WE do this on June 9 th it will give them time to realize OUR seriousness and enough time this session to bring FULL Repeal of the Safe Act to the floor and vote.

The Albany MINUTEMAN Rally June 9:
The term MINUTEMAN is a descriptive term for serious urgent action. It is an effort of quick and decisive action. A time where other things must be put aside and sacrifice prevails. This is a time for MINUTEMAN action.
On Tuesday June 9th – while Albany is in session – beginning at NOON – WE march through the halls of every floor of the LOB chanting “WE Will Not Comply – FULL Repeal of the Safe Act NOW”.
Further Details: We gather in the halls on the LOB first floor concourse at 11:15am. We jam the security lines with 1000s of US and go through security to the elevators and the stairway. In a sort of random fashion WE march all the way up to the 9th floor chanting all the way. We march back down and out of the building to the infamous lawn of the Capitol Park. Once we are all gather in the park, with no permit required, someone begins a chant that gets as loud as possible.
