“A COLOSSAL MISTAKE”

(Apr. 9, 2015) — “There it goes, out the barn door, through the corral, over the fence, up the hill and beyond the ridge. Gone!”
“Thar she blows!”
“That’s for whales, stupid. This is a horse, a real-live-air-breathing American rodeo chase-them-cows horse.”
“Whales breathe air.”
“Yes, that is true. Whales do their breathing with air. Very perceptive. But, getting back to the subject at hand; back on track, as it were, the horse, or to be a little bit more specific, the path has been used for a couple of years and nobody did anything about it.”
“A lot of people talked about it.”
“Talk is cheap: doesn’t cost a cent. What counts is something of a physical nature, like a gate. Wait! forget the gate, let’s make that a wall, a stone wall that can’t be tunneled, gone around nor climbed. In other words, the path has been recognized and closed. No more path.”
“No gate?”
“Gates, by definition, can be either open or closed. No, no gate. Matter of fact, truth be told, there was no path until recently.”
“You mean to say that there wasn’t a path before?”
“That’s right, no path. No need for a path. People just naturally assumed others would be smart enough to not require a path; after all, over a million just died, so to speak, in our Civil War to keep our country together, so why would anybody (that had an ounce of sense) go against the Constitution in any way?
“No, it’s just crazy, is what it is. But it’s following a plan, too.”
“Plan? You mean the path wasn’t a mistake, that it was planned?”
“You bet your life, which, if you think about it, you are. Planned for years. Think about it. It couldn’t have happened without the total support of ignorant and dumb people just following the order of ‘DO NOT VET’, and that’s exactly what they did or, really, didn’t do. Just didn’t do their jobs.
“Think about it: thousands of county employees looking the other way because they were told to look the other way, and they did, every one of them, believe it or not.”
“Everyone?”
“It was easy: you do what we say or else.”
“You mean?”
“It would be prudent to assume that murder very well may have been involved, or the threat of murder, or physical harm, or fired for even mentioning the path.”
“You mean that they knew, all of them?”
“No, no, not all, but certainly some. Most.
“Anyway, this path has been used every day for SIX years, day and night; weekends; 24-7. Not one break, ever.
“It’s like this: you have a farm, and on one corner the farmer next door made himself a shortcut by cutting through your property, but you don’t say anything. You don’t tell anyone. Guess what? You’re too late. You should’ve complained and brought it to the attention of the authorities rather than wait years and years. Now it’s too late.”
“But I did tell everyone. I even brought it to as many courts as I could, but all they came up with was ‘NO STANDING’ or, ‘Hey, it’s just a little corner of your big property, so don’t make a federal case over it.’ That was what I did, but nobody listened.”
“And that’s my point: the horse has been long gone. Obama wasn’t vetted, and all those who worked on the Election Boards of the counties and parishes around the nation went right ahead and put his name on the ballot, a candidate who wasn’t vetted, and you expect them to do their jobs now when they didn’t do their jobs then? That would be like admitting they made a colossal mistake, maybe take the chance of getting fired, losing their pensions, and that’ll never happen.”
“So we’re stuck with it?”
“That is until someone speaks the truth, and lives to tell about it, it is.
‘They would not listen, they’re not listening still. Perhaps they never will… ”
