WND released an article about this Protest and Assemblyman Donnelly’s office has been receiving calls from across the nation in support.  Americans across the nation are appreciative of Assemblyman Donnelly taking a stand  for our Marine rather than accepting the invitation  from Governor Brown.

Donnelly’s letter states: “I am writing to decline your luncheon invitation, and to express my deep disappointment that you would entertain the president of a nation that is holding an active-duty U.S. Marine captive.”

Referring to Brown’s July 27 trip to Mexico, Donnelly writes: “How you could visit Mexico and not publicly demand the release of Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, is beyond me. … Instead of visiting our imprisoned Marine, you were feted by his captors.”

Please share the Facebook event page or if you do not have Facebook, share this email or the event from Assemblyman Donnelly’s official legislative website.

As a Blue Star Father himself, Assemblyman Donnelly has kept the release of an American Serviceman as a top priority, speaking at rallies and holding a prayer vigil on the 4th of July at the spot where Sgt. Tahmooressi’s life took an unfortunate turn.

Please bring your U.S. Flags and Protest Signs

Please keep the focus ONLY on the release of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi

We will meet outside the Leland Stanford Museum, on the Public Sidewalks  to exercise our Constitutional Right to Assemble and Protest

Gov. Brown’s Invitation:  Browns Invite
