WHAT WAS THE MILITARY DOING?

by OPOVV, ©2014

Four Americans, including Amb. J. Christopher Stevens, were killed on September 11, 2012 in a terrorist attack which the Obama regime attempted to cloak as “a protest” arising from an obscure internet video.  There was virtually no military response.

(May 7, 2014) — We knew every line of “Blazing Saddles,” Stan and I, and we should have, and you would, too, if you watched the movie three times a week for a year, as we did. We also watched the “The Producers” with the same enthusiasm. It was just one of those times when the planets and stars aligned, which made our collective brains susceptible to funny lines. I guess you had to be there.

So where am I going with this? If you’ve seen one Congressional hearing, you’ve seen them all. One could, if one were so inclined, hear the question and then hit “mute” and answer the question yourself. The “I wasn’t aware of that” is good for at least 15% of the answers, with the “Let me get back to you on that one” worth another 15%. Even though they would like to use the “I don’t remember” excuse 100% of the time, it’s actually used only 60% of the time.

That leaves a measly 10% of the questions asked which will actually be answered, and they include name and job description, and possibly, “Will you honor us with a possible future grilling, if it’s within your busy schedule?”

That was yesterday. Now we are about to embark on yet another Congressional hearing, this time headed by Rep. Trey Gowdy, which we hope will actually get to the truth, but we’re not holding our breath. The specter of “Executive Privilege” and changing the classification of materials from “Everyone Read This” to “King Kong Top Secret-Secret” is an unfortunate, but realistic, fact of life.

The fact that nobody believed that a Youtube video was the catalyst which ended with four Americans dead in Benghazi is not the point (I’m sorry, but this editorial is to be read by adults only. If you believe in the lies from the Obama Administration and by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and by then-Ambassador Susan Rice, please do yourself a favor and refrain from not understanding any more than you don’t already not understand. Thank you.).

We understand that Ambassador Stevens was most likely set up; after all, his pleas for additional security were purposefully (possible) and blatantly (probable) disregarded/brushed off. But what we don’t understand is why the call for the cavalry were not only ignored, but ignored completely. Why wasn’t anyone saddled up, round-chambered, safety “ON?” And, by the way, just in passing, who gave the “stand-down order?” And how did it travel down the chain of command? I want to know the exact route that order traveled: from person to person, second to second.

Where were our troops that day? And if they couldn’t save the first two killed, certainly they could have saved the last two. And then go after the bad guys? We’ll never know, will we, because nothing was done to help our guys who needed our help.

How come our Green Berets and SEALS are sitting around the barracks, waiting to be called to go after the bad guys, but the call never comes? It’s frustrating to be on call and never to be called. So we lose good people because we don’t use them: they don’t re-up. They get out. All those years of training for nothing. What, all the bad guys are dead already?

How come those who kidnapped all those girls in Africa are still breathing? How come each and every one of the savages haven’t been hanged by the neck from the nearest tree until dead by now? What are we waiting for? Afraid to kill Muslims, just like in Afghanistan?

Let’s see if our military can finally get with the program, okay? It’s come down to we either win, or we’re toast.
