“NO UTOPIA FOR LAZINESS”

(Dec. 6, 2013) — I used to work for a sorry group of people, a crew that stole money (lazing around) from the taxpayers every day (county employees). When I confronted them with “You’re only hurting yourselves,” I was met with blank looks, as if I was transported into the future, 2008, where zealous Democrats drank the Kool Aid and were unable to define “New Speech;” where “transparency” is secrecy; “fundamentally change” is the abolishing of the Constitution; and “Period” is when you’ve just been told a whopper.
One day the boss handed me the keys to his assigned pickup truck, and when the work was successfully completed at the end of the day, I returned the truck to the same parking spot and placed the keys in the drawer from which they came. The next day I was accused of stealing the truck. The charge stuck. The facts didn’t apply. A charge was levied and the wheels of justice started to turn ever so slowly to an inexorable end.
The liars “won,” but what did they win? These “information-challenged” voters are creating a world in their own imagination; the Golden Calf replacing the Ten Commandments; sloth and laziness replacing responsibility. Are today’s Obots capable of foreseeing the future? Do they have the intelligence to understand that there are always consequences?
The Meek. The addicted to welfare checks, to Food Stamps, always ON, never OFF, generation after generation, and as long as the playing field is skewed to keeping the slaves dependent upon the government for food and shelter, they’ll forever be a captive audience, forced to attend schools taught by teachers who are more concerned with their union than they’ll ever be about the welfare of their students and, by extension, their country.
The Meek. Our military just going along, following the orders from a Commander-in-Chief who is ineligible, for One, and a Muslim, our enemy (if anyone’s been paying attention) for Two. Want to go for Three Strikes? Reference LTC Terry Lakin’s kangaroo court-martial, where the Joint Chiefs of Staff could have saved one of their own but, instead, assisted in the railroading of a decorated Army doctor into a Dishonorable Discharge. All the doctor wanted was to see the proof that his president, our president, was really born in America. What’s wrong with that?
The Meek. Supporting an insupportable de facto president and his Socialistic policies while the mainstream media continues to fawn over a Cheap-Suit-Con-Artist (Obama) who deserves a one-way ticket to a cage down in Gitmo, along with his Cabinet and a slew of others. The mainstream media is the main reason we have the problems we have. Within four years of Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20, 2009, the price of a gallon of gasoline has DOUBLED, yet the mainstream media has yet to use the dreaded word, “INFLATION!” The Meek fail to understand the correlation between Obama’s economic failure, even when confronted with escalating food prices.
“Hope and Change,” but not for the Meek. No, the Meek will not inherit anything: no utopia for laziness. The fact is that Obama is the death of America, and Obamacare is the vehicle which pushes us over the edge to Socialism, mediocrity, and failure.
The Meek, as it turns out, will inherit nothing, except to find themselves standing in the same line for a Zyklon-B shower as the rest of us.

I am not meaning to sound critical, but rather to clarify the meaning of the word “meek” in the context of the BEATITUDES as delivered by the Lord at His Sermon on the Mound.
“Poor in Spirit”, “meek”, the quality of spiritual self awareness that informs us that as a human, born into Sin, WE must constantly SEEK a closer relationship with the Lord, in heart, mind and soul, and by doing so throughout ones life offers the promise of eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Poor and meek in the Words of the Lord hold a different meaning than is found in Websters.
” … in the Sermon on the Mount, He addresses Himself purely to man’s spiritual nature.
The laws He promulgates appeal to the heart, the conduct He requires concerns the will, the emotions, and the affections, the kingdom
He establishes is within, and touches the very thoughts and desires of the soul.

Dear slcraig,
You are 100% correct. I certaintly didn’t mean, nor, hopefully, imply, that this particular editorials’ definition of “meek” is the same or in anyway whatsoever connected to what you commented on.
My “the meek” are just following their “leader”, with no thought of the consequences of their poor judgment.
Perhaps I should’ve used a different word, but sometimes, in order to get the reader’s attention, the title must be catching and provocative, and interesting all at the same time. You get the idea.
Be it that it may, thanks for your comment. It’s always nice to know that there are some out there who, not only read the editorials, but spend some time contemplating what they say.

“Hope and change” is not a plan but a platform of fairytale wishes. It was nonsense from the beginning from a decidedly incompetent fool addressed to like minded uninformed people who just didn’t care.
In 2008 it took me all of 5 minutes to find a story about Obama, “the Kenyan” running for US Senate and more information has battened down the fact that Obama is a pathological liar.
Two people in the Republican party are quite responsible for aiding Obama in driving this Country into the ditch. Mitch McConnel and John Boehner. These two guys are the best republicans we never should have voted for and two that we need rid of soon as the next elections.
