“VOTE NO TO ALL 6 PROPOSITIONS”

by New York State Grassroots Groups

New Yorkers will be voting on six proposed constitutional amendments on November 5

(Nov. 3, 2013) — Term limits would help remove corruption from our government – we all agree on that. Changing the NY Constitution is in direct conflict with the people’s ability to root out corruption. VOTE NO to keeping a judge on the bench until 80 years old.

Are your property taxes too high? Why would you want to take more private land of the tax roll so YOUR portion of the tax burden will rise? VOTE NO to adding more land to the massive land already in the Adirondack “forever wild” project. The so called “park” is already bigger than many whole states.

Tenure in public jobs is a good thing? Tenure means you can’t get rid of bad workers or deadwood. They just keep sucking off YOUR tax money. Civil Service jobs have many problems – even more than the tenure issue. VOTE NO to encouraging our good Vets to take poultry civil service jobs.

Did the lottery or OTB do anything positive for New York? Why would you think having government run casinos would be any different? The casino ballot Proposition would allow a government run monopoly.  VOTE NO to Cuomo Casinos.

The same people that wrongly passed the Safe Act in the middle of the night without the public’s knowledge are the ones that wrote and added 6 resolutions to the ballot this year. VOTE NO TO ALL 6 RESOLUTIONS.

“We the People” have submitted over 1,000,000 personal petition post cards demanding a vote for FULL Repeal of the Safe Act to which the clowns in Albany have not given us redress required by OUR constitution. Beware the Status-Quo – the 6 resolutions are only on the ballot for their own self-interest.
