He lectures around the country on the responsibilities of the county sheriff and the encroachment of a large federal government on citizens’ liberties

(Aug. 4, 2013) — A Unique approach: Arizona’s Sheriff Mack to Lecture in Plattsburgh, NY on August 9 on the duties of the County Sheriff and American Law Enforcement.

Plattsburgh, NY will be the host spot on August 9 for a unique event in a unique outdoor setting near the shore of Lake Champlain. Sheriff Richard Mack, the notable law enforcement scholar, will lecture to an unusual combination – a mixed crowd of everyday citizens, peace officers and politicians. To add to the uniqueness the lecture is wrapped within a jamboree of fun, music, food, and for a little spice – a rally opposing the SAFE Act.

A Synopsis: It is high time for America to get back to law and order. In recent times the County Sheriff’s purpose has been obscured. The County Sheriff is the supreme law enforcement in America. The role of the Sheriff is to keep everything on the up and up. The Sheriff is the key to keeping America safe from harm of any and all forms. All law enforcement agencies are under the auspices of the government – except the county sheriff. The county sheriff’s duty is to “protect and defend the people.” This means he is to uphold the law – that law is the Constitution of the United States of America. Local, county, state and federal Legislatures do not necessarily make laws; more times than not they pass statutes. The county Sheriff’s duty is to determine if a statute or legislative law is in harmony with the Constitution and then enforce the law accordingly. In many cases law enforcement agencies and government authorities break the law by following the directions of “legislative actions.” The county sheriff is our watchdog. In cases whereby the citizenry is unjustly treated, the duty of the sheriff is to make any authority “stand down.”

For many years, while being an elected county sheriff, Richard Mack “bucked the system.” In many instances he deciphered the difference between injustice and the law. The sheriff would routinely stand down and also force law enforcement to stand down. Time after time the courts decided Sheriff Mack was correct in judgment. This led to Sheriff Mack’s quest. He created an organization to teach the truth of American law.

Sheriff Mack is the president of The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA). He marches across America speaking on justice and teaching true law. On August 9th he brings his lecture to Plattsburgh, NY. He will be speaking at a free jamboree at 202 the Oval festival grounds. The event opens at 5:00 pm. He invites everyone to come and enjoy the sights, sounds and informal teaching about our America.

  1. If the county sheriff really is the county’s ‘watchdog’ and if it is his duty in cases where the citizenry is unjustly treated to make ‘any’ authority ‘stand down’, would that not include entities obstructing or blocking actions of Grand Juries?
