(Jul. 12, 2013) — “The president just asked me to set up a flight to Las Vegas, so will you take care of that with Air Force One?
“Air Force One? President want to go to Vegas.”
“Uh, that’s a negative. We’re no longer accepting orders from someone who has continuously refused to show his most basic credentials, like maybe his Birth Certificate, so we refuse to follow any orders by an usurper. Don’t call back. Good day to you, Sir.”
“Joint Chiefs of Staff? We have a situation here. It seems that the crew of Air Force One refuses to fly the president; can you look into this?”
“Hello, this is the Joint Chiefs of Staff calling the Pentagon, do you read me? Then we have a problem. Air Force One is pulling a Lakin; yes, that’s right, they’re refusing to follow any orders from the White House. What? You’re telling me to fly a kite? I want your name, Mister, you’re disobeying a direct order from your superior. I can what?”
“Hello, this is the Pentagon calling. Look, I want to talk to a First Sergeant, if you would, please, pronto.”
“Hello, Sergeant, this is Colonel ‘M’, you remember me? I want you to round up a couple of Abramses and move ‘em to Washington. I want one at the White House, one here at the Pentagon, and the rest around the Capitol, you read me? Yes, that’s right, we’ve had it and we’re taking it back.”
