HAS EMBASSY SECURITY BECOME LAX UNDER OBAMA?
by Sharon Rondeau
(Sep. 14, 2012) — The Jerusalem Post has reported that a warning letter dated September 4, 2012 was sent to Egyptian security forces indicating that a terrorist group was planning to launch attacks on the U.S. and Israeli Embassies in Egypt.
to wage war against non Muslims in the whole world, is directed especially against Christians, Jews and Western Democracies.
The UK’s “Independent” reports that the deaths of four U.S. embassy employees in Benghazi, Libya, were “likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach.” The attacks have been described as “highly coordinated.”
The UK Daily Mail described the scene of the devastation in Libya as having been victimized by a “major security breach.” The embassy is said to have lacked “bullet-proof glass or reinforced doors.”
A video mocking Islam was first said to have sparked the “protests,” which have escalated throughout the Middle East to rocket-propelled grenades, fires, shootings, and other atrocities. Putative Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the video was “disgusting the reprehensible” and that it “denigrated a great religion.”
According to a domestic news report, security concerns at embassies have been present for “years.”
On September 11, 2001, 19 Islamic terrorists flew four airliners into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, the latter believed to have been headed for the U.S. Capitol. Nearly 3,000 people were killed, including Muslims.
In November 2009, an Army psychiatrist shouted “Allah Akbar!” and killed 17 other soldiers at Ft. Hood, Texas, reportedly because he objected to an impending deployment to Afghanistan where he would have to “go to battle against other Muslims.” Malik Nidal Hasan has still not faced trial for the murders, which included an unborn child.
Since the embassy attacks, reports have surfaced that the Marines guarding the embassies did not have ammunition at their disposal, a claim the Pentagon denies. “Sensitive documents” are reported to be missing from the Libyan embassy since the attack on Tuesday.
Riots have broken out in Tunisia, Sudan, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Yemen, and continue in Egypt. The website Nightwatch reports that “The normal time for organized, violent Muslim protests is Friday afternoon, after prayers. Muslim Brotherhood leaders already have called for “non-violent”, anti-US protests on Friday after prayers. Readers should expect more anti-US protests and no Egyptian security forces.” This view appears to be shared by the U.S., which reportedly strengthened its security forces at embassies throughout the Middle East.
The German embassy in Khartoum, Sudan has been attacked and torched.
According to CNN, “The FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warned there could be more violence “at home and abroad as the film continues to gain attention.” As of this writing, two universities have ordered evacuations in the midst of bomb threats.
In 2009, Obama toured the Middle East and spoke from Cairo, Egypt, stating that “Islam is part of America.” To be sure, there have been “honor killings” in the U.S. as well as in Muslim countries in heinous ways.
Obama’s former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, said Obama was “steeped in Islam” before joining Wright’s Black Liberation Theology church in the 1990s.
