SEMPER FIDELIS

by Gunnery Sergeant John McClain, USMC, Retired, ©2012, blogging at Gulf1

(Sep. 13, 2012) — Some months ago, the man in the president suit took umbrage at the actions of the ruler of Libya.  He laid economic siege, gave grave warnings, applied pressure, and when he was not heeded, the man in the suit proceeded to wage war upon that Nation.

Just a short time ago, our Navy Seals caught up with a long sought enemy, and killed him in the fight.  This is something the Seals do from time to time, very well, and because no one ever knew exactly how they did it outside the community, it always has been rather impressive.

For some weeks now, the man in the president suit has been bragging about how “he” got this man, Osama, and has even gone so far as to provide classified information on the way and means of finding our enemy, and managed to get one of the “assets” imprisoned for thirty one years for helping us.

The other day, Hollywood released a film which shows Islam in a less than favorable light.  Apparently, it portrays their prophet Mohamed, something they find an offense.  Today, or yesterday, depending on where you live in the world, a group of Muslims instituted an attack on our Ambassadorial Mission, which was back in Tripoli for some reason.  The attack was well planned, and the group used the rioting and protests over the release of the film to cover their actions and ensure their success.  The Libyan guards told the attackers where our ambassador’s staff was, with guns and RPG’s; they killed the Ambassador, a staff member, and two Marine Security Guards.

Tripoli was the place of the first expeditionary operation of the Marines, and for this reason, I will leave you all with this as my message.

I extend my heart-felt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones on Tuesday, and I offer up a prayer for the Marine Corps, as two of its finest left this world a better place for their having been here.  What more can a man do than to give his life for another?  God Bless those souls, may God Bless our Nation, and I pray this nation will truly mourn for her lost sons; they were of the finest stripe.

Semper Fidelis, light winds over the aft quarter, and following seas, my brothers.

  1. A great article Gunnery Sergeant John McClain, Ret.; in Romney’s statement we get a glimpse of what a real President would do, despite the TOTALLY WORTHLESS MSM. I think that Congress should immediately pass a law that would temporarily suspend all moneys going to these troubled Countries, (with the idea that unless we see an immediate improvement, the suspensions would become permanent), heck it’s all borrowed money from China anyway which the tax payers have to pay back with interest. Furthermore we should close all effected Embassies including the corresponding ones in the USA. Finally Congress should make it abundantly clear to Obama that Congressional approval is required to reinstate any payments to these Countries, because of his own known affiliation and love for the Muslim Brotherhood types, who likewise hate America.

  2. Dear Gunnery McClain,
Tortured. Unimaginable pain and suffering. Imagine , if only one could, the utter hate and madness required to do what the animals did to our Ambassador Stevens. But then to even imagine their insanity would affect a sane person, so I just shake it off and hope that I have some part in bringing justice to those who deserve to perish, no Gitmo-Med for these psychos.
I never met J Christopher Stevens, I wish I did, I wish he and I were best of friends, for what I’ve read and seen of his photos he was a dedicated and professional employee of State and I feel sadden by his untimely demise, as I feel for the others that were murdered that fateful night.
It turns-out that Stevens and the others that were murdered that night were expendable; sent out as sacrificial lambs, to satisfy the unquenchable appetite of a monster whose tentacles reach globally, throughout Europe, across the Atlantic and throughout America, all the way into the DOJ, Homeland Security and the White House.
Yes, we must mourn our loss, but we must never forget that Western Civilization is at war to the death with the likes of those in the mob in Libya and those in the White House.
    Sincerely,
    OPOVV
