LAST-MINUTE BRIEFING CONTAINED PUSH FOR MORE GOVERNMENT JOBS

(Jun. 8, 2012) — The official presidential schedule for today indicates that Obama was to “deliver a statement” this morning at 10:15 a.m. EDT.
Chicag0 Sun-Times journalist Lynn Sweet, who closely follows the schedules of the president and vice president, showed no indication that Obama had been scheduled to deliver public remarks in her “Official Schedule and Guidance” posted this morning, nor did Keith Koffler’s “White House Dossier.”
Koffler reported earlier this week that Obama “sleeps in” on occasion.
However, Obama did make a “statement” which touched on the topics of national security leaks, the economy, housing market and the financial crisis in Europe. One source stated, “The Presidential news conference was not previously scheduled and was announced by the White House on Friday morning just prior to its scheduled starting time. Check back for further details.”
Some outlets called the session a “press conference.” Why was Obama’s plan to make a “statement” not posted on his schedule yesterday?
During his remarks, Obama advocated his “jobs plan” which he claimed was “full of ideas” for increasing jobs in the United States. He blamed Congress for failing to take action and “urged them to reconsider” the bill. He stated that Congress should “pass a bill” to put public employees such as firefighters and policemen “back to work.”
In a questionably defensive tone, he said, “If Congress decides, despite all that, that they aren’t going to do anything about this because it’s an election year, they should explain to the American people why.”
In recent days, various writers have exposed and discussed Obama’s validated ties to the socialist New Party in 1996. Questions have been raised as to whether or not former President Bill Clinton supports Obama based on remarks Clinton has made recently.
A press conference is planned for later this month by Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse to reveal more information about Obama’s background and long-form birth certificate, which the posse has stated is a “computer-generated forgery.” In an interview with Dr. Laurie Roth, lead investigator Mike Zullo stated that “the media will no longer be able to ignore” the information about to be released.
