What is Obama’s Birth Date?

(May 29, 2012) — A video released this morning created by TeaPartyPowerHour featured a telephone call from Mike Zullo, the lead investigator of the Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Cold Case Posse, with interviewer Mark Gillar.

The Cold Case Posse had conducted a six-month investigation of Obama’s birth certificate and Selective Service registration form and announced on March 1, 2012 that there was probable cause to believe that they were forgeries.

Zullo and a deputy sheriff with criminal investigative and “threat management” experience have been in Hawaii for the last week performing further research and investigation.  Zullo stated that WorldNetDaily columnist and author Dr. Jerome Corsi is in Hawaii with them to conduct “legal research” and traveled there at his own expense.  Corsi is reportedly under a “gag order” about the work he is conducting in Hawaii.

The reporter, Mark Gillar, asked Zullo about his experience with the Hawaii Department of Health in regard to obtaining information on Obama’s alleged birth certificate, to which Zullo responded, “I would say that the official doors have been closed to us tighter than the vault that the alleged birth certificate resides in.”

Gillar asked Zullo about the electronic image allegedly sent by someone at the Hawaii Department of Health to Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett at Bennett’s request.  Zullo stated that the image lacked Obama’s alleged birth date of August 4, 1961.  His observation was, “The #1 item should have been the birth date…when you look at what they sent…we believe there is a problem with the birth date.”

To the knowledge of The Post & Email, Zullo’s statement was the second time it has been suggested that Obama was not born on August 4, 1961. The first occurrence was when investigative columnist Martha Trowbridge stated that Obama’s original identity was “Bari M. Shabazz,” born on October 28, 1959.

Obama claims that he was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, HI.  There have been at least two hospitals identified as the location of his birth.  While Kapiolani Medical Center had used Obama’s birth as a selling point at a fundraiser, it removed the image from its website after the media reported on it in 2009.  Thereafter, Kapiolani refused to corroborate that Obama had been born there.  The other hospital at times associated with Obama’s birth, Queens Medical Center, has remained silent as well.

A researcher who had attempted to obtain a verification letter in place of a certified copy of a birth certificate for a baby born on August 4, 1961 had been told that no records existed for Virginia Sunahara, who was born on August 4, 1961, as evidenced by a certified short-form birth certificate given to her brother last year upon his request.  Her birth and death also appear in the Index books which another researcher reported during the summer of 2010.  Obama’s name appears in the Birth Index, but above his name is the anomalous entry “Duplicate” which a researcher who took photos of the materials at the Hawaii Department of Health identified as something she did not see anywhere else in the book.  Another anomaly was the lack of the standard header appearing in the Birth Index books for other groups of years.

The researcher visited Virginia’s brother, who last fall filed a lawsuit against the Hawaii Department of Health for its refusal to issue a certified copy of his sister’s long-form birth certificate.  The Circuit Court ruled in favor of the Health Department even though the person requesting the document had a “direct and tangible interest in the record.”

Two bloggers identified as “Dan Crosby” and “Pen Johansson” have accused Obama of falsifying his past using what appears to be an “insider’s” tone.  “Dan Crosby” said:

This document image was forged. It was contrived. It was crafted. It was deceptively created. Then it was personally and publicly endorsed by Obama making him politically, criminally and personally liable, ironically, for its lack of legitimacy and deceptive content…much like the man himself.

Crosby then draws a connection between Obama’s “forged” birth certificate and slain civil rights leader Malcolm X.

Hawaii law states that “any applicant” may ask for and receive a “verification of the existence of a certificate” in accordance with the eligibility criteria contained elsewhere in the law.  The official form to request a verification letter asks for the date of birth of the person in question.  Hawaii’s alleged response to Bennett’s request did not include Obama’s stated birth date of August 4, 1961, and Bennett reportedly was asked to amend his request in order to obtain a response for his constituents.

If Obama was not born on August 4, 1961, then the “birth announcements” which many members of Congress sent out to those questioning Obama’s background and eligibility were falsified.  This writer received a copy of the alleged birth announcements as proof that Obama was eligible for the presidency by Congressman Steven King of Iowa in 2009.  Whether or not birthplace alone is sufficient to determine that a person meets the constitutional qualification of “natural born Citizen” has not been addressed by any court in the United States after nearly four years of litigation in scores of lawsuits and ballot challenges.

If the birth announcements contain the date Obama was allegedly born, why did the Hawaii Department of Health omit it?  How could the “Verification” form sent to Bennett then accurately reflect what is contained in the Health Department’s files?

What would be a reason for Obama to state a false birth date to the public?

Zullo indicated that there will be a “shocking revelation” at the next news conference anticipated in mid-June.
