WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM AMERICA’S “FIRST PEOPLE?”
by One Peeved-Overwhelming Vietnam Vet, ©2012, Presidential Candidate

(May 2, 2012) — How. My great-grandmother was the daughter of the chief of an American Indian, so I lay some claim to this land’s heritage through a distinct and traceable blood line. For the most part, my tribe has been assimilated into the fabric of American culture, some of it good and some of it bad. There remain a few holdouts, some of whom practice landscaping by washing machine, but for the majority we’ve mingled with Europeans and have embraced Western Civilization. Our pet peeve with you people was the way you’ve treated the land, but that peeve has been shifted to the way the government now treats the people.
In tracing the gene pool of each of us, at some time in the past, our ancestors were a captive and slave of someone else, and there are no exceptions. What happened thousands or even a hundred years ago is water over the dam, or the snake has shed its skin: a done deal and therefore history, a thing of the past. Get over it, as the American Indian has. We are concerned for the future, as we should be, and the future looks forbidding: storm clouds are building, and a tempest is on the way. We Indians are looking in dusty bins for the music and words to our War Chant to do our War Dance, and all patriots of America are welcome to join us.
In order to survive, every Indian Nation had a government which insured a stable environment in which to raise the young. All American Indian Nations had great respect for womanhood, so much so that the very land was named “Mother Earth.” Recently, America has been the focus of an invasion that is being successfully carried out by a group of people who are at polar opposite with what America is all about: Freedom.
The American Indians considered themselves a free people, as much as possible, living within the constraints of their laws such that the change from Indian laws to the law of the US Constitution wasn’t as drastic as the racism and prejudice of the politicians in Washington made it to be. My ancestors are an example of people just being people without the interference of shallow Political Correctness nonsense.
We are all aware of abuses of the law by ignoramuses, none more so cognizant than the American Indian, but like the old saying goes, you don’t throw the papoose out with the bath water, and the same goes for our Constitution. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the Constitution, but there is something inherently wrong with America today, as exemplified by such characters as Harry Reid, John McCain, Nancy Pelosi, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, and Hussein Obama, just to name a few.
At this time I do not formally represent the political landscape of the American Indian, Vietnam vets, and the American Patriot, but this I will say: what is happening to our land cannot and will not be tolerated. There lurks in America today a sub-specie of an American who goes by the name of “Obot,” who has no respect for the heritage that is America, and who cares not for the future of America, willingly trashing my and your Constitution. This state of affairs cannot and will not be sanctified by the support of a usurper who passes himself off as a qualified president, let alone a candidate. Whether you are Democrat or Republican, Tea Party or Independent, decided or undecided, we need honesty more than any other commodity in our government and in the news today. The lie that is Obama and his regime must go. I do not speak with forked tongue. I have spoken.

Tom, Regardless of which “Monicer” you use, you are still what you are and what you represent in this “Swamp of Human Degradation”, and those NOT willing to support the Republic, the Constitution or the Freedoms, Liberties and Pursuits of Happiness that America ONCE WAS!!
Those that stand at “The Trough of Freebies and Hand-Outs”, that have the attitude that it is a NEVER-Ending place of FREEBIES, will soon discover the true definition of “SERF” and “SLAVE” in Obama’s NEW Nation, that is “‘DA United SOCIALIST States ov AmeriKa”
May they “WALLOW in their NEW ENTITLEMENTS!”~they DESERVE Them!!
I, on the other-hand will continue to “Stand in Closed-Ranks” and take the “ONE Step, Forward to Preserve our Republic and that for “Which She Stands!!!”
SEMPRE FI!!!
OPOVV – Why did you change your name? I liked the old one. It fit what most of us Constitutionalists feel, even though we may not all be Vietnam Vets.
Dear TalkingMonkeyNOT,
Thank you for asking. The P&E’s readership has grown by leaps and bounds within the past year, thanks in part to the blogs who are anti-Constitution/pro-Obama. These Obot loving blogs often comment on the editorials in the P&E and, thusly, have greatly contributed to the expansion of our readership, for which we are grateful.
These pro-Obama bogs claim that the two Obama Birth Certificates are genuine legal Hawaiian documents and, therefore, that Obama is Constitutionally qualified to hold the office of president, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Furthermore, they insist that, since Obama has been successfully vetted in 2008, that his name should AUTOMATICALLY appear on the 2012 ballot.
We, of course, know better, for we deal in what is called “reality”, and do not believe in the fantasy of “the lie that is Obama”. For starters, Obama was never vetted, successfully or otherwise, by any of the public servants in any of the districts, territories and states, much to the shame of those government employees who should have exercised due diligence in doing their job, but failed us all (EVERY Secretary of state and Election Board official, for instance).
Since the P&E is becoming more widely read every day, it stands to reason that it is likely that more young adults will be reading us, and it was felt that, in keeping with a high moral standard, unlike the Obama blogs, certain words and phrases would no longer be appropriate, hence my name change, at least here in the P&E.
But no matter how you cut it, OPOVV stands for the Constitution, stands by the Oath that he took at the recruiting station in Chicago in 1963, honors the memory of Audie Murphy and all who have contributed to defending the Constitution, and will willingly put his life on the line, once again, for his country. Above all, OPOVV is a state of mind, AN ATTITUDE, and I’m glad you share it with me.

Thank you. It looks to me that America is slowly traveling to another “TRAIL of TEARS.”
Psalm 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?”
Psalm 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
