Daryn Moran Reports on Telephone Call to the Secret Service

WILL MORE SUPPORTERS JOIN HIM IN HIS QUEST FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

(Oct. 4, 2011) — The Post & Email was contacted on October 3, 2011 by Daryn Moran, who has been in Washington, DC for the last several days after stating that Obama needed to be arrested for the crime of forgery.  He affirmed that he himself has not arrested Obama, nor does he expect to be able to do so.  He also reported that the Secret Service has been attempting to convince him to return to his home in Omaha, NE.

Moran served for nine years in the U.S. Air Force until his honorable discharge in August 2011 following several years spent as a civilian, preceded by four years in the U.S. Marines.

Moran reported that another person from “up north” has joined him in Washington, DC in a motion of solidarity regarding concerns about the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate and other issues about which Obama might have lied.

He stated that he called the Secret Service after he was joined by the supporter in order to make public what he is doing, as “things have changed” since receiving the physical support of another person.  “A couple people have indicated maybe sending support of a little bit of money; not anything significant, but it can help.  I hope others will consider that if God leads them.”

Moran has also made contact with someone who calls himself “Captain America” with whom he will speak again on October 4.

Moran and his supporter do not know how long they will stay in Washington.  However, he indicated that they will be meeting with a congressional staffer on Tuesday, October 4.  He described a document which he had distributed to numerous parties which The Post & Email published here.

In reference to his phone call with the Secret Service on Monday, October 3, Moran said, “The fact that I talked to the Secret Service today was important because we already went around about the reason I came here today, saying that I alone was coming to arrest the president; they saw it as a threat and had to investigate it to make sure that the president was safe.  That’s their job.  I told them that I was educated enough to know that the arrest wasn’t going to be personally done by me.  So the spirit of it and fervency of it is really what guided me.  Now that I’m here, the legal matters take over, and I have to use verbiage so that nobody gets in trouble.  But that doesn’t change anything because I know what’s going on in the country.”

Moran said that he is “still convinced by the preponderance of evidence” that Obama’s purported long-form birth certificate is a forgery and that the ramifications on the nation are “drastic.”  He stated that the Secret Service agent to whom he spoke today asked if he had been recording the conversation.  “When they first met me, they thought I was crazy, and actually, if I heard a story of somebody going to hunt down the president and going to arrest him, I might have thought there was something wrong with him, too.  I was frisked; they checked me for weapons.”

When we asked why Moran called the Secret Service, he said, “I really want to do my part.  I came here on my own; I knew why I came.  I’m not afraid to admit failure.  I personally never arrested Obama and never even spoke to him.  I want him brought to trial, as you reported.  Phone calls with the Secret Service are tough and not something you want to do, and I don’t think I’m going to initiate too many more.  They had told me to go home before, and at that time, I told them what my plans were, and then John contacted me Saturday night and met me after church on Sunday.  So that’s why I stayed, because I had a supporter.  I looked at that as I’m not going to let somebody down if people are going to get involved.  I had to contact the Secret Service because I didn’t know what their response was going to be.   The same way I contacted them when I came out here on my own the first time to let them know, it was kind-of a change of circumstance.  I had to let them know, “OK, now I have somebody else; how are you going to treat them?”  I’m trying to keep things very public; that’s important so that people can reach their own conclusions about what is going on.”

The Post & Email asked, “Did they again urge you to go home?” and Moran answered, “Oh, yeah.  They want me to go home.   They said, ‘If you don’t go home, you’re going to bring all these problems on other people that want to join you, and if you get five people, what are you going to do?’  I can’t arrest him; five people can’t arrest him.  But I’m trying to raise awareness.  This is our capitol; this is our seat of government.  Americans can come and make a difference.  They tried to act like nobody can do anything and that we’re not Americans. ‘You don’t have freedom; you don’t have a place;’ they’re just saying a bunch of garbage.  I told him, ‘I am really tired of people not taking responsibility and acting as if they can’t do it,’ and he said, ‘It’s not going to happen; you’re not going to get it done.’  They’re just trying to force their will.  What if I went home and started my life? I would go back to a city, Omaha, where the mayor would not respond to me; the city council would not even take my name and number, and the county sheriff wouldn’t answer me.  What kind of service to the citizenry is that?  They take their lead from the federal government.  All these people spinning excuses, saying ‘We see how they use excuses,’ saying ‘that doesn’t apply to us; it’s not our jurisdiction…’ it’s all a bunch of lies.  The reason I know that real Americans know that is that they have responded to me.  I did what a lot of other people felt like doing.  Once I came here, I had to admit to the Secret Service, ‘OK, you’re right, it’s crazy; I can’t just walk up to Obama and conduct a citizen’s arrest.’  But it wasn’t so much about that; it’s about a trial.  It’s about accountability; crimes being accounted for from the preponderance of evidence that indicates that.”

Moran stated repeatedly that Americans can “do something” and “don’t have to be afraid…If everyone has written and called and blogged about this, then you can do something about it.”

He added that “Washington, DC is a place full of lies and deceit.”

Moran might be meeting with several other supporters later in the week.  “I don’t want anybody to get in trouble because of me, and that’s what the Secret Service tried to make me feel like…’You’re gonna waste your time and get people in trouble.’  I’m trying to be the example and let other people prove their worth.  People have different constraints on their jobs and their money, which I don’t hold against anybody.  You have to do only what you can.  But those who can should consider it…they need to think twice.”

The Post & Email asked Moran, “What do you think the Secret Service knows about Obama?  Do they understand why you believe he should be arrested?” and he responded, “Yes, I told them I think he presented a forged birth certificate, but they didn’t ask to see the evidence.  They have no interest in it.”

Moran said that the country is “divided.  You’ve got people supporting Obama, love him and protect him to the death, and then when I tell this guy that I’m willing to die for my country, he acts like, ‘Wow, you’re saying what crazy people would say.’ Well, if you’re in the military, you’re supposed to be willing to die for your country; that just means that they want to defend the Constitution.  Real Americans stand up and defend.  These people are not defending anything. They’re cashing their paycheck, ignoring the problems and passing the buck.”

He added, “If enough people came, it would put the cameras of the mainstream media on them and make a story.  They won’t make a story while I’m here because it’s just one and they can get around it.  But if more and more Americans come, then they’re the lunatics by avoiding it.  You can’t sweep all that under the rug; it’s just impossible.”

Moran said that he will see how much funding comes in for his cause and determine how long he can stay in Washington.  He stated that he believes the Secret Service is “blindly following” Obama despite the questions about the forgery of the birth certificate to maintain their jobs.  Moran pointed out that he lost his job for objecting to Obama on moral grounds regarding the new policy of allowing open homosexuality in the military and the possible forgery of the birth certificate.
