NUMEROUS REPORTS OF “GOOGLE REDIRECTING” ARTICLE FAILING TO OPEN, GRAPHICS DISAPPEARING, AND CONTINUED REDIRECTING

by Sharon Rondeau

(Aug. 21, 2011) — On August 20, 2011, several readers of The Post & Email advised this writer that when they tried to log on to our website using the Google search engine, they received an error message which ultimately resulted in a “Server not found” screen.  A search for www.thepostemail.com in Google yields a screen full of links to our articles, but those links all lead to the error message.

As this article goes to press, the graphics do not appear in our article published on the subject yesterday.  Using the Bing search engine, the website is located and our article can be opened, but the same result of missing graphics occurs.  Our copyrighted material has been hacked, which is a cyber-crime and has been reported as such.

When one tries to then go to our home page, the error message comes up again.

The Post & Email has reported the “Server not found” error to its hosting company, which has stated that it is not their service which is causing the problem.  We are therefore approaching the conclusion that someone employed at Google has committed a crime by either hacking our website or purposely causing the Google search engine to redirect browsers to the fake website/Server not found screen, or both.

We have just discovered that now, none of the graphics are appearing properly in a search of our articles, and Google’s name appears in the url, even if Google is not used to reach the website or perform the search.  An attempt to open any of the articles listed in the search results in the same error message.  The graphic embedded in this article does not display.

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs has reported that Google has censored searches for terms relating to radical Islam, then labeled it “an accident” and said it was “working to fix a bug.”  Geller had also reported having been “sandboxed” by Google, to which a Google representative responded that Geller’s website “was in violation of our terms of service. When we are made aware of a potentital [sic] policy violation, our team of specialists will manually review the site to make sure it abides by our program policies. In this case, we have stopped serving ads to Atlas Shrugs.”

The Post & Email does not use Google Ads, even though we were informed at one point that it could increase our revenue dramatically.

We do not believe this is an accident and will be taking legal action against Google for damages incurred to its copyrighted material, website, and readership since this problem began on Friday, August 19, 2011, if it is found that Google’s employees are at fault.

A blogger has reported that Google CEO Eric Schmidt is “an adviser for Obama” with a verifying link.  Obama has used Google YouTube to broadcast his speeches.

Since Friday, readers have reported the following, which will be used in our action against Google:

I USE IXQUICK AND WHEN I CLICK ON ARTICLE ABOUT GOOGLE REDIRECTING TO A FAKE WEBSITE IT DIRECTS ME TO THE FAKE WEBSITE. IT TAKES A WHILE FOR ME TO ACCESS YOUR ARTICLE BUT THE ARTICLE BELOW IT COMES UP RIGHT AWAY WHICH IS UNUSUAL. I WAS BROUGHT TO A PAGE OF YOURS WHICH I HAD NOT SEEN BEFORE AND HAD AT THE BOTTOM SOME NEWSWORTHY ARTICLES ABOUT A PETITION BEING STARTED TO DEMAND BO’S RESIGNATION AND OTHER ARTICLES JUST AS NEWSWORTHY BUT CLICKING EVERY ONE OF THEM BROUGHT ME IMMEDIATELY TO THE FAKE WEBSITE.

After reading your post about google redirecting to another page…I clicked on the Post & Email logo to go back to the home page and received this message

Oops! Google Chrome could not find sokoloperkovuskeci.com

I clicked the back button and clicked on the logo again and still received this message

Oops! Google Chrome could not find sokoloperkovuskeci.com

So I came back to the Post & Email through my bookmarked page.

Sharon. I can’t read the article on “GOOGLE”. It won’t let me have it. Was your site hacked???

Dear Mrs. Rondeau,

This evening at 11:17 p.m. (MT), the document http://www.thepostemail.com/2011/08/20/google-redirects-readers-to-a-fake-website-instead-of-the-post-email/ on your web site will not open while other documents open normally.

Sharon,

I can see this is a problem.  I tried using the link in your email and was redirected to a strange site: (removing the http:)

://sokoloperkovuskeci.com/in.php?g=493

I was able to get to your site using the generic version URL  rather than the total article URL, and I read the post about it being either Google or being hacked.  But I couldn’t see the examples you showed, so in case it has changed the redirect to another site,  I added the link above to show the redirect.  I tried to see other articles, but each one I clicked on redirected.

Google did the same thing to Atlas Shruggs as I recall.  Pamela wrote about it multiple times.  They also did something that put her articles to the end of the search list for keywords.  You do hit nerves so it isn’t surprising that the obots are going after you now.

————————

Sharon, for some reason I cannot access this article. When I click on it, my tab just keeps spinning, searching I guess.

Yeah, it looks like you’ve been hacked…I have Post & Email saved in my “Favorites” via Internet Explorer (browser) My search engine is “Scroogle” (anti Google)…Your site comes up just fine and all of your articles come up just fine, except for one…Yep, you guessed it….When I click on the Google article that you recently posted, it takes a couple of minutes for it to load (I have a fast puter and connection speed)….When that particular article finally loads / opens, all of the graphics / pics are vacant (white boxes)….That is the only place at your site where I am having any problems.

————————–

When I access your site through my fav bookmarks, it works fine. It seems like I have to have visited your site once before “it” is able to redirect me to sokoloperkovuskeci.com. I wonder, are they are compiling a list of people who visit your site?

After I read your article about Google creating trouble for your website, I tried to access post & email at google.com and it said that your website appears to be broken.

There are plenty of witnesses to this cyber-crime.
