“OUR MORALITY MADE THIS A GREAT NATION”

by Bill Johnson

President John Adams stated that the U.S. Constitution "was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other."

(Aug. 12, 2010) — Every one of us, at some point in our life, must face a single moral choice: Whether to live our life honestly or dishonestly, including ethically or unethically, for good or for bad. It is a conscious decision each of us must make. The vast majority of us opt for the path of social good and honesty. Not only is that path historically advantageous but, frankly, it is simpler because the path of honesty is always easier to follow and to adhere to. That fact rings even truer because the rewards of honesty far outweigh the obstacles of choosing otherwise, not the least of which is the need to constantly lie to oneself and others, and the risk of having one’s lie(s) exposed.

Having made one’s choice, it is also true that change is entirely possible. The whole idea behind our prison system is to convince people who have chosen one path to opt for another more honest, crime-free lifestyle and path. All prison inmates have the choice but not all choose honesty. Most of them eventually come to the realization that honesty really is the best policy.

We have always known that just as a person chooses goodness and honesty, a person also chooses his/her sexual orientation. For most, it is a natural decision and one meant to ensure man’s continued existence. In the life of each and every homosexual, there was always a single moment in a single day when the decision was reached to be a homosexual. Whether out of pure selfishness or lust or other reasons, people choose to be homosexual. Homosexuals could have chosen to be straight just as well as they chose to be queer, if they wished to. That this is true is clearly witnessed by the sheer multitude of ex-homosexuals.

Consider this statement from an organization devoted to ex-homosexuals, Parents and Friends of Ex-gays & gays (PFOX, www.pfox.org): “Parents and Friends of Ex-gays & gays (PFOX) promotes diversity for the ex-gay community. Ex-gays demonstrate that those with unwanted same-sex attraction can seek help and information on overcoming their feelings. All individuals deserve the right to self-determination and happiness based on their own needs, and not the needs of others. PFOX supports tolerance for everyone regardless of sexual orientation. Who are ex-gays? Every year thousands of people with unwanted same-sex attractions make the personal decision to leave homosexuality.” This web site’s banner: “Ex-Gays prove change IS possible.”

In spite of the lies they tell themselves and others, homosexuals retain the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, as we all do. Where homosexuals often run afoul of those rights is when they mistakenly believe that their rights supercede or are superior to the rights of others. An old Jewish adage says, “You might have a right to swing your arms, but that right ends at the tip of my nose.”

In a search for the specifics of a long answer about a person’s choice to be homosexual, one ends up with a range of possible reasons. Religion, family, peer pressure, selfishness, and so on. If you ask a person why he or she is homosexual, you will get answers that are also all over the map: “I was born this way.” “God made me this way.” “I had no choice in the matter.” “Being homosexual runs in my family and so it is genetic.” All of which are untrue — and verifiably so. Every great once in a while, you might get the one true, honest reason: “I enjoy being a homosexual.”

Homosexuals lie. They lie to everyone, even to themselves. They most especially and particularly lie to themselves by not being truthful with themselves. That is how they justify to themselves what they are, even if they come out. But they must also convince others that their lifestyle is acceptable and that being a homosexual is good, that it is morally acceptable, that it is okay to God, and that it must be acceptable because they enjoy it so. Even though society mostly shuns them, homosexuals tell selfish lies to the public in an effort to convince everyone else that it is good and okay and right with God to be homosexual. Thus, the magnitude of the personal lie balloons into a huge lie beyond a homosexual’s ability to control it.

If you use the term ‘gay’ instead of homosexual, it is because you have been intentionally brain washed. You not only have been lied to but you have been manipulated in one of the sickest, most cynical public relations (PR) campaigns ever conceived. The dream-child of homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, the ploy to get you to think of homosexuals as gays, to think of deviant sexual behavior as acceptable, to forget that the spread of aids was largely due to sex between men, and to make you think that homosexuals marrying each other is somehow acceptable — all of it is intentional, nothing more than programmed propaganda straight out of George Orwell’s 1984. Obviously, the thinking is that if one is no longer homosexual but suddenly gay or lesbian, that person will somehow be magically transformed into a non-homosexual being that the public will accept.

In 1991, before the propaganda campaign, the magazine Seventeen conducted a survey in which it found that homosexuality was acceptable to just over fifteen percent of young adults. When the same survey was conducted eight years after the propaganda campaign had begun, nearly half (44%) of young adults found homosexuality acceptable. Pure brain washing. The simple solution is to be truthful. Describe sexual deviants using proper terminology, homosexuals. That one term correctly covers all lesbians, cross-dressers, queers, bisexuals, or transgenders and, at the same time, negates the propagandist’s objectives.

So their whole lives are based on one big lie. The more people that they lie to about whether they are homosexual, the more homosexuals are able to convince themselves and hopefully, in the process, others too, that they are being truthful. But they always know deep down inside that they are still lying.

A frequent lie used by homosexuals in the military to justify repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) policy is that the
policy deprives the military of outstanding men and women who want nothing more than to defend their country and that they have the ability to operate a gun or a radar as well as a heterosexual. The truth is that, beside admitted homosexuals, the military does not accept for enlistment GED holders, those with minor criminal records, visible tattoos and piercings, or those who fail to meet obesity standards. Likely, many young men and women in these categories also have the ability to operate a gun or radar, and they may also wish only to defend their country. Are these aberrations more damning than sodomy?

In actuality, targeting of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy by homosexuals, by Secretary Gates, by the Joint Chiefs’ Admiral Mullen, by members of Congress, and by obama is misguided. UCMJ Article 125 criminalizes sodomy — unnatural carnal copulation — with another person of the same or opposite sex. Since it would be virtually impossible to practice homosexuality without committing sodomy, Article 125 effectively outlaws homosexuality. So the lie to repealing DADT is that Article 125 will continue intact — and homosexuality will remain prohibited.

The argument is made by homosexuals that their struggle for equal rights is the same as the campaign for civil rights by Blacks in the ’50’s and ’60’s. But that is not so. Based upon facts as we know them, it cannot be. In their argument, two important factors are always conveniently ignored: 1) Blacks will be black their entire lives and 2) Homosexuals will ALWAYS, ALWAYS have the choice of becoming heterosexuals. They may not want to or wish to change but that is not the issue at hand. Rather, as clearly pointed out earlier, each argument that homosexuals do not have the option to
change is simply false, a blatant lie. If the arguments of liars and prevaricators are to be believed, then why do we not allow terrorists or criminals in key positions in our government and society? No, homosexuals’ arguments for equal rights simply do not stand up to scrutiny.

The majority of Americans abide by the laws of nature. It is from those laws of nature that their rights and their man-made laws are formed. They each live their own lives according to those laws, they raise their children according to those laws, and they expect their leaders to rule according to those laws. The democratic principle of majority rule means just that. The rights of the majority will prevail. At the same time, the rights of those in the minority must honored; acceptable alternatives can be and have been found to accommodate their rights. Those rights, however, do not trump those of the majority. Ever.

Our Founding Fathers used God’s word and teachings to establish this Great Nation, a nation based on morality and freedom. What is done is done. It cannot be undone and the United States cannot be unfounded and refounded. The formula which made this into the greatest nation that ever existed would be changed to suit a handful of queers? Are we truly capable of being THAT stupid?

Our law descends from our morality. We are all born with an innate sense of morality. We all have a conscience. Try living 30 minutes with no moral boundaries. Would your innate humanity allow you to do that? Live just for 30 minutes with no moral boundaries, no guardrails. Ram into somebody, run every red light, go where you want at 85 miles an hour, to hell with what happens. See if you can do it. Most likely, you can’t do it. The people who can do it are the people who are not wired correctly, something’s wrong with their morality. For a nation as great as the United States of America to base its’ entire stake in the future on the carnal desires of persons with no, or incorrectly wired, morality would be foolhardy.

All of the laws created by our Congresses, with the exception of the current Congress, were made not of the volition of men alone, but of men with morals. Without our morality, we can no longer be a great and just nation. Without morality, we can no longer demand the world’s respect nor would we deserve it.

  1. Should the thirty minutes of no restraint exclude removing any obstacles to restoring restraint ? If not, this nation might be corrected in thirty minutes if everyone were willing to sin in unison. So close and yet so far….

  2. To speak out as this article does, is noteworthy. A few corrections may shed more light. Plenty of homosexuals do not engage in sodomy. They do employ many other means of sexual engagement. I comment, based on the death of a relative with HIV and with his totally open discussions of the homo lifestyle prior to a horrific death.

Yes, heterosexuals die from HIV as well. So, the moral message is one marriage, one for life, and one woman to one man until death do we part. The natural and spiritual fulfillment in the God-ordained union as husband & wife is the crucial institution society is/was formulated upon. Without it …well, you need not have a degree to see the demise of the human race.
