NO MISTER, THE MEDAL OF FREEDOM IS VASTLY INFERIOR TO THE MEDAL OF HONOR!

by John Charlton

(Nov. 7, 2009) — The Obama File is reporting a most revealing faux pas, committed by Barack Hussein Obama during the height of the news frenzy over the Fort Hood shooting, in which 12 U.S. Military were killed by a Muslim shooter.

The Obama File makes its remarks regarding what Obama said during his live interview Thursday afternoon.  After commenting on Roger George’s comments at NBC Chicago, on how poorly prepared Obama was to speak to the Nation about the shooting, the Obama File publisher wrote his own comment:

Obama’s TV appearance was actually worse than the above description.

He was cold, and read his statement as though he were describing how the White House budget is prepared — it was a shocking display of detachment — but as a person that loathes all things military, not surprising.

By the way, Joe Medicine Crow is not a recipient of the Medal of Honor.  He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom — and from Obama.

Obama is so clueless he doesn’t know the difference between the nation’s highest award that recognizes “gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his [or her] life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States,” and an award made for “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

Smarty-pants Obama should know the difference between the Medal of Honor and the Medal of Freedom — especially since he personally awarded the latter to Crow.

Don’t expect this blunder to receive wide coverage.  It’s not something he can blame George Bush for.

The Post & Email will connect the dots, if you have not yet done so.  To say that Joe Medicine Crow, who was deemed worthy of the Medal of Freedom, received a Medal of Honor which is reserved for Military Heroes, during the very moments in which the Nation is morning the barbaric slaughter of U.S. Military personnel by a Muslim in uniform, is not callous, but a direct insult to the bravery of U.S. Military personnel throughout history.

To do this at any time would be reprehensible; to do this Thursday afternoon was a clear indication of a very warped mind.

The question of the day is:  “Was Obama caught off guard? Was he actually demeaning the U.S. Military, glad that they had suffered this tragedy, as a way of payback for “persecuting” this Muslim?” — Since Obama was so quick to diss the Cambridge Police as racists when they arrested one of his political supporters; it cannot be imagined that he could not have prepared himself after several hours, to give a more appropriate response.  Americans are left with the wonderment if he really meant to slight the U.S. Military, by his strange faux pas, which seems rather to be a Freudian Slip of epic proportions.

I saw his little speech, and it made us sick. Like my husband says, BO is a cold fish.

Well, that’s the truth.
