“DOZENS” DEAD; CITIZENS TOLD TO “STAY INSIDE”

Citizens were assembled on the Promenade des Anglais when a truck drove into a group, killing at least 30

(Jul. 14, 2016) — According to Sky News, a straight-style truck drove into a crowd of people in Nice, France standing on the side of the road following a fireworks display for French independence day, known as Bastille Day.

The possibility that the incident was an accident has been mentioned, but terrorism is suspected because of the significance of the date.

At 5:54 p.m. EDT, Fox News has reported from its sources that 30 people are dead and at least 100 injured.

Early eyewitness reports have mentioned having heard shots fired, raising suspicions of a terrorist attack.

At 6:00 p.m., Shepard Smith of Fox News stated that the area where the truck slammed into the bystanders was a “pedestrian-only” area.

French police reportedly “exchanged shots” with the truck driver, killing him.

France is six hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time.

Update:  At 6:30 p.m. EDT, Fox News reported that at least 60 have been killed.
