Report: Saudi National, Once “Person of Interest” in Boston Marathon Explosions, to be Deported Next Week

(Apr. 18, 2013) — A Middle Eastern terrorism analyst reported on the Hannity Show Wednesday evening that the “person of interest” reportedly being “guarded” in a Boston hospital following the two explosions on Monday at the Boston Marathon will be deported.

Steve Emerson of The Investigative Project on Terrorism told Sean Hannity that he had learned that the Saudi national, who is a college student and was reported by The New York Post as a “person of interest” on Tuesday will be sent back to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, April 23.

The announcement comes after Obama met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal on Wednesday allegedly about “developments” in Syria with the meeting not posted on Obama’s public schedule.

On Tuesday, putative Secretary of State John Kerry met with the same Saudi official, with a press blackout announced at the last minute.  On Thursday, Kerry is scheduled to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, although it is not posted on the committee’s website and the topic is not provided in the State Department’s press release.

Also on Wednesday, Dr. Laurie Roth reported after interviewing Walid Shoebat, a Middle Eastern expert, that Shoebat had found the student and two other Saudi men in a photograph taken at the Boston Marathon.  Speculation of the perpetrators includes foreign terrorists, although the mainstream media along with ideological sycophants almost immediately suggested that “patriot groups” and a “white American” could be to blame.

On September 11, 2012, a building reportedly used by the CIA in Benghai, Libya was attacked by Islamic terrorists, although the Obama regime issued propaganda stating that the attack had stemmed from a protest over an anti-Islamic video.  Obama has never explained why he was absent for the remainder of the evening following a brief meeting with then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joe Biden.  Some reports say that Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey was present at the meeting rather than or perhaps in addition to Biden.  Fox News reported on October 26 that a “stand-down” order was given in regard to normal rescue operations which would have been launched following an attack for which no one has taken responsibility.

A group of retired military members called “Special Operations Speaks” is calling for a formal congressional investigation into the events in Benghazi.  A post from the group directed to Speaker of the House John Boehner dated April 17 reads, in part:

We write you out of grave concern that the events of 9/11/12 in Benghazi are being given insufficient attention in the House of Representatives under your leadership. On numerous occasions, you demonstrated satisfaction with the White House’s response to Congressional inquiries, despite the lack of accountability and of specificity of testimony in those inquiries. To date, you have also declined to create a Select Committee to fully investigate what took place during the terrorist attack.

A report from Infowars states that FBI agents were present at Monday’s Boston Marathon prior to the explosions which killed three people and injured more than 170.

The “person of interest” who was allegedly briefly investigated was described by the State Department as “badly injured.”  A photo from an Arabic website reportedly of the man shows him smiling while in the hospital.  The man was “cleared” very quickly after authorities searched his apartment in Revere, MA.  His roommate was also questioned, reportedly for five hours.  On Tuesday, The Boston Herald reported:

Last night, a phalanx of officers from the FBI, ATF and Boston swarmed the fifth-floor apartment in Revere’s Ocean Shores Tower in what residents said was a startling show of force just hours after the horrific Boston Marathon double bombing.

In addition to two Boston Police K-9 units and a bomb squad unit, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as Homeland Security investigators and state police also assembled at the two buildings on Ocean Avenue in Revere.

The FBI reported on Wednesday that two people of “high interest” have been identified on a store surveillance camera but have not yet been arrested or identified.

One of those killed in the explosions, an eight-year-old boy, had called for an end to violence after discussing the death of Trayvon Martin in Florida last year.

The Post & Email has contacted the U.S. State Department to inquire as to why Kerry’s meeting with the Saudi Foreign Minister was closed to the press and if the meeting had a connection to the “person of interest” who is now reportedly scheduled for deportation on Tuesday.  The spokesman did not have the information but promised us a response by email or telephone.

Update:  As of 8:10 p.m. EDT, the State Department has not responded to our inquiry.
